Chapter 297 She Broke the Future Family Rules

The three of them went upstairs together. Eula could only take another shower, because she was drenched in sweat.

When she pushed the door open and went in, she saw the man on the bed. He looked up at her.

Eula almost screamed. 'How could there be a man on my bed?'

When she saw that the handsome face belonged to Judson, she breathed a sigh of relief, quickly closed the door, and locked it.

"How did you get up here?"

Judson said coldly, "Climbed the window."

Eula, exhausted, sat on the bed. Once she sat down, she felt comfortable all over and laughed.

"You're pretty agile."

Judson smelled the scent in Eula's blanket—it was all her scent. Being able to sleep in such a bed was a kind of enjoyment.

"Finished working out?"

Judson didn't see Eula when he came in, so he had a look around her house.

He found Dewitt, Rodolfo, and Eula working out in the gym, so he retreated to her bedroom and lay down to wait for her.

Dewitt and Rodolfo were sharp-eyed, and Judson knew it was only a matter of time before they spotted him if he lingered downstairs.

When Eula finally arrived, she let out a weary laugh. "I'm so exhausted. I'm never lying about how tired I am again."

She shuffled into the bathroom.

"Eula, need any help with your shower?" Judson called out from the other side of the door.

"Go away!" Eula shouted back.

Judson chuckled softly, a low, seductive sound that resonated with a certain charm.

After Eula finished her shower, she climbed into bed. The moment she was under the covers, she closed her eyes, too tired to keep them open, especially this late.

Judson noticed she had become still as soon as she got into bed. He turned to her, pulling her into his arms.

Eula stirred slightly, opening her eyes just enough to glance at him. "Judson, I'm so tired. I need to sleep."

Judson's eyes softened with a touch of sympathy. After almost two and a half hours of exercise, she had every right to be this wiped out.

He bent down and kissed her gently on the forehead. "Get some rest."

Eula was already fast asleep, oblivious to his words.

Judson watched her sleep peacefully, feeling a pang of reluctance to disturb her. He had hoped their first night together would be different, but given how tired she was, he couldn't bring himself to wake her.

The next morning, Eula's alarm went off. Judson reached over, grabbed the phone, and took a quick look. It was only 6 AM, and he frowned slightly before calling out, "Eula, your alarm's going off. Do you need to get up?"

Eula, still half-asleep, turned away and ignored him.

Judson turned off the alarm and said, "If you're not getting up, don't blame me later."

By 8 AM, Eula was jolted awake by Angie's excited screams. She opened her eyes to see three kids standing by the bed and then turned to see Judson still asleep beside her.

Panicking, she quickly pulled the covers over Judson's head and said to the kids, "Good morning!"

Angie hurried over to the side of the bed, pulling back the covers to get a better look at the man.

Judson's eyes fluttered open. His hair was tousled, and a smile played on his handsome face. His voice, deep and melodious, carried a magnetic charm. "Good morning, Angie!"

Angie's hand flew to her mouth in surprise. She thought, 'It's really Judson!

'I'm so thrilled. Judson is actually going to be our dad! They slept together—does that mean they're getting married soon?'

Dewitt and Rodolfo walked over, their eyes fixed on Judson with a cold stare.

Eula spoke first, "I'm currently dating Judson; he's my boyfriend now."

Dewitt glanced at Eula with obvious disappointment.

Rodolfo narrowed his eyes. "Mom, dating doesn't mean marriage. Don't bring men home until you're actually married."

It was a rule in their family. Eula's eyes drifted to the side. She knew she'd have to enforce this rule with Angie in the future, but now that she had broken it herself, she felt a pang of shame.
