Chapter 271 Interrupted Again
Judson stared at the string of saliva still connecting their lips. It was as hot as it gets.
If he hadn't just taken care of himself in the bathroom, he'd be all over her right now.
His long fingers brushed her lips. She was stunning, especially those big, bright eyes. When they locked eyes, it made his heart ache.
He pulled her into his arms, holding her tight.
"Eula, stay with me, forever," he said, his voice tinged with sadness, like he'd lost something before.
Eula's heart twisted, and she softly replied, "Okay."
In that moment, their hearts were in sync. They needed each other, and Eula even felt a bit sorry for Judson.
But Judson didn't need pity. He was strong, rich, and came from a privileged family. He lacked nothing.
They hugged for so long that Eula's legs started to ache. Finally, Judson let her go and playfully tapped her nose.
"Staying over tonight?" he asked, his gaze deepening, making her heart race.
Eula shook her head. "No, I have to go back."
Judson knew that in front of the three kids, he meant nothing. He hoped that one day, he'd have a place in Eula's heart.
He led her to the living room and pressed her to sit on the couch. Then he pulled her into his arms again, not giving her a chance to refuse. And she didn't want to.
"Eula, tell me about yourself. I feel like Geoffrey knows you better than I do," he said, feeling a bit annoyed.
Seeing his aggrieved look, Eula couldn't help but laugh. She leaned against his chest, her hand touching his wool sweater. It felt good and looked good on him.
"Judson, Geoffrey isn't their father. Dewitt and Rodolfo just said that to annoy you," she explained, wanting to laugh at the memory.
Judson had been pursuing her in front of the kids while secretly planning to get engaged to Kristina. Kids weren't easily fooled.
Judson sighed in relief. "I knew it."
None of the kids looked like Geoffrey. In fact, Dewitt and Rodolfo looked more like him.
Judson finally smiled, his expression relaxing, and his eyes growing more affectionate.
Suddenly, he kissed her again, but Eula dodged.
"My lips are swollen, no more kissing," she said.
She enjoyed kissing Judson but was afraid it would get out of control like it did in the afternoon. She wanted to take it slow. Otherwise, it would be too easy for Judson and she worried if he would not cherish her as much down the road.
Her expression turned cold, and she pressed her hands against his chest.
"Judson, are you serious?" she asked.
His eyes narrowed, gaze deepening. "You don't believe me?"
Eula looked at his handsome face, so close, chiseled like a sculpture. His gaze was unfathomable. She couldn't understand this Judson.
They remained in a standoff for a while, then Judson let her go.
Seeing his back turned to her made Eula inexplicably sad. She hugged his waist and buried her head in his neck.
"I believe you," she said firmly.
No matter what happened, she wanted to be with Judson and cherish this relationship.
Just then, the doorbell rang, and Eula quickly let go of him.
"It must be the kids. I have to go," she said.
