Chapter 118 Getting Her Medical Help
Assured by Judson's words, Eula felt relieved. "Well, thanks, Judson."
Raising an eyebrow, he silently admonished himself for not holding back and letting things go on a bit too long last night. It was his responsibility to take care of the consequences of his own actions.
Grinning, he answered, "No problem, my pleasure."
Ashley
thought Judson seemed off today, his smile suggesting something mischievous, and there was this naughty vibe to him. Her eyes roamed as she pondered, unable to remember doing anything inappropriate the day before. But then again, when was Judson ever too proper?
She enjoyed her breakfast, feeling good, especially with the newfound intimacy between them. It seemed that now Judson saw her as something that truly belonged to him; his possessiveness appeared to grow stronger.
He served her a fried egg and added some sides to her plate. "Eat up."
His goal was to get her a bit plumper, although the curves were already quite voluptuous in the right places. Still, he worried her slender frame might not endure his vigor in the long haul. Having been single for quite some time, he intended to fully sate his appetite.
Catching another glance from him, Ashley's large, questioning eyes fluttered , enticing as ever. Judson frowned for a moment; damn it. Why did just seeing her like this stir desire in him?
Picking up his coffee again, he took a sip to suppress the rising allure.
After breakfast, Eula felt much better, full and ready to tackle the day. People really shouldn't skip meals; hunger made the world seem apocalyptic. Now, with a hearty meal, she felt invigorated, as if after a storm she could flourish once again.
She began to tidy up, but Judson's indifferent voice halted her. "We should head out; we'll be late for work."
Eula withdrew her hands. For the first time, she appreciated his decency for not expecting her to wash the dishes before heading to the office. She quickly stood and scurried after him.
In the car, she frowned, feeling a sharp pain in her chest, especially noticeable with every step she took.
Judson noticed her discomfort and asked, "What's wrong?"
Eula didn't hide the truth. " I'm miserable because of allergies, and it's excruciating when I walk."
She lifted her hand to keep her clothes from sticking to her skin.
Judson's face changed, realizing he was the one who had caused her this suffering.
He then texted Hugo, "Do you have a trustworthy dermatologist over there?"
It took a while for Hugo to respond.
"Yeah, our hospital's fully equipped in every department, you know that," Hugo replied.
Judson was aware, but what he needed was a highly skilled doctor who could keep things confidential.
"Send a trusted female doctor to my office," he instructed.
Hugo responded, "Okay, but how did last night go? Need me to write you an aphrodisiac? "
Their biggest concern was still that incident, and Judson could already imagine Hugo's devilish laughter after reading his reply.
"Buzz off..."
After sending the message, he put his phone away, no longer wishing to engage in conversation with that guy.
When he finally put his phone down, Eula, who had been sitting quietly beside him, gently called out to him.
"Judson, last night you said if I finished that bottle, you'd agree to donate bone marrow to my friend's daughter. Can you vouch for me? You saw me finish it."
