Chapter 248 Someone is Jealous Too

At that moment, Geoffrey's call came in.

Eula answered, "Hello."

"Eula, I'm passing by your company and thought we could have lunch together." Geoffrey proposed.

Eula was just thinking of having a hearty meal! She didn't expect Geoffrey to be downstairs, so she replied, "Alright, where are you? I'll come to you."

Geoffrey glanced at the man and woman across from him and said calmly, "At the restaurant opposite your company."

Eula responded, "Okay, I'll be right there."

She rose from her seat and headed to the lounge restroom, where she freshened up by applying some lipstick before taking a moment to tidy her hair.

Today, Eula was dressed quite professionally, donning a black blazer over a blouse and pencil skirt, complemented by black tights. She applied bright red lipstick to enhance her presence.

Eula went to the restaurant across the street. As she entered, she saw Sandra and Judson, a hint of surprise flashing in her eyes.

She hadn't noticed earlier that they were also dining there.

Without thinking much, she strode towards Geoffrey's table and sat across from him. "I'm here."

Geoffrey pushed a glass of water towards her. "Have some water."

Then he snapped his fingers, and a waiter approached. "Bring on the food," he said to the waiter.

Eula took a sip of lemon water and asked, "Have you met any suitable matches on your recent dates?"

Geoffrey's expression changed slightly; he hadn't expected Eula to bring this up. His demeanor turned a bit cold. "No."

At that moment, the appetizers arrived. Geoffrey picked up his knife and fork and served Eula some more. "You've lost a lot of weight recently. Eat more."

A hint of surprise flashed in Eula's eyes. 'Have I lost weight? I felt I have gained quite a bit,' she wondered.

However, it had been an age since she had eaten at this restaurant, and the food was excellent.

Sandra, sitting across from them, looked up and saw Eula, her eyes lighting up slightly. "Hi, Eula."

Hearing this, Judson looked in the direction Sandra was looking.

Geoffrey nodded slightly at him, as a greeting.

Judson's expression changed slightly. He glanced coldly at Eula, who had her back to him and was eating with her head down, completely unaware that he was looking at her.

Sandra smiled. "I didn't expect Eula and Geoffrey to know each other. They seem to have a good relationship." While saying this, she became even happier.

She had thought that since Judson had a girlfriend, he would be very cold to her. Unexpectedly, he was a bit more enthusiastic than before, at least greeting her.

Now that Eula was having lunch with Geoffrey, and Geoffrey seemed to like Eula a lot, Sandra, who had someone she liked, could easily see the deep affection in Geoffrey's eyes for Eula.

Judson said nothing and ate little. He just held his glass and drank water, his expression much darker than before.

Sandra felt that since they had arrived at the restaurant, Judson had been unusually quiet.

She could only find a topic. "Judson, does Hugo have a girlfriend? My grandmother likes him the most and is eagerly waiting for him to have a baby so she can hold her great-grandchild!"

Judson knew that in the Pitts family, Donna liked Hugo the most because he was the best-looking of the three children.

Moreover, Hugo was sweet-talking and knew how to make Donna happy, so she was particularly partial to him.

Judson said indifferently, "I'm not sure about that."

Judson was not one to meddle in others' affairs, especially not in romantic feelings.

Sandra clearly felt that Judson's mood was not good, too cold.

So she glanced at the nearby table, seeing the smile on Geoffrey's face, then looked at the cold Judson in front of her. Anyway, he was like this to everyone; she should get used to it.

Sandra then quietly ate her meal, not speaking further.

Eula focused solely on eating, thoroughly enjoying the meal. Every dish was exquisite, and the taste was simply superb.

"Ms. Lowe, have you finished eating? It's time to get back to work."
