Chapter 347 Missing the Kids

Hugo took a quick look at her leg and said, "No biggie, just a scratch. I got you some scar cream. As long as it doesn't scar, you're good."

Judson finally let out a sigh of relief.

He got up and pulled her into a hug. "Let's bounce!"

After being stuck in the hospital forever, he was losing it. He wanted to rush back to the office and grind, but Eula wasn't having it. So, he decided to chill and head home first.

Eula waved at Hugo. "Later, Hugo!"

Hugo walked them to the elevator. As the doors shut, Eula clung to Judson's arm. "Judson, don't get hurt again. I'm tougher than you think."

Judson glanced at her. Her chin was cute, small, and a bit upturned, perfect for a pinch. "Got it."

Eula finally relaxed, free from the hospital.

She promised herself she'd get stronger so she wouldn't be a burden to Judson anymore.

Back at Starry Villa, Eula had him lie down to rest. Judson played along and motioned her over. "Stay with me."

He felt fine and thought he could hit the office no problem. Eula was just being extra.

Seeing the bed, Eula took a step back, nervous. "I gotta check on the kids. Haven't seen them in days."

She turned to leave, but at the door, she looked back with a soft smile. "I'll be back soon. Get some sleep. I'll be here when you wake up."

Judson's lips tightened, annoyed. "Can't you put me before the kids?"

Judson was practically pouting, and Eula laughed. Where was the steely-eyed CEO she knew? He looked like a child, completely disarmed.

Eula replied, "No way."

Truth was, he was already her priority. She hadn't been home or seen the kids in days.

Thinking about how he got hurt because of her, her eyes filled with gratitude.

A guy who'd risk it all for you? That was a rare find, something truly special.

In this lifetime, her heart belonged to only one man: Judson. No one else could ever hold that space.

Eula closed the door and headed home.

As soon as she walked in, she saw the three kids giving Shadow a bath in the yard. Shadow shook off the water, and while her two sons dodged, Angie got soaked.

Angie wiped her face. "Ugh, Shadow, why'd you do that? I'm drenched."

Hearing her, Shadow suddenly knelt down, like it was saying sorry.

It was pretty hilarious.

Angie giggled. "Shadow, I forgive you."

Then it stood up again, shook off more water, and knelt down again, head down, avoiding Angie's gaze.

Angie felt helpless. Eula walked over. "I'm back."

Not seeing them for over ten days, she really missed them. Looked like they had a blast with Shadow.

When Angie saw Eula, she burst into tears.

Dewitt and Rodolfo stood nearby, watching Eula with cold eyes. They knew why Angie was crying.

Eula panicked and hugged Angie. "Angie, what's wrong?"

Angie just cried without a word. Rodolfo said calmly, "She thought you ditched us."

Ten days without her felt like an eternity. They had never been apart for so long. Angie really thought Eula had left them.

Eula comforted her, "How could I leave you? I was just on a business trip. How about I get you a Barbie and a pretty dress later?"

Hearing this, Angie immediately stopped crying. "Deal!"
