Chapter 313 Judson Has a Good Taste
Judson turned his head and caught the bummed-out look on Eula's face. He shrugged and said, "I don't do smiles."
Eula's eyes widened a bit, realizing Judson always had that icy look. Even when he did crack a smile, it was just a tiny smirk.
She used to think he was always on cloud nine, but now she saw he was just a regular dude, not some untouchable god.
Judson had a ton on his plate, running a huge company and having so many people counting on him. And who knows, maybe he had his own stuff to deal with too.
Eula thought he looked awesome when he smiled and figured everyone should smile more.
Judson wrapped an arm around her shoulder. "Send me that pic."
Eula blinked, surprised. "You want it too?"
She thought someone who hated photos wouldn't care for one.
Judson raised an eyebrow. "Yeah!"
Eula sent him the photo. He opened it with his long fingers, staring at Eula's sweet smile in the pic, then saved it to his album.
Just then, his phone rang again. The company was calling about the annual meeting.
The Nash Group's annual bash was always a big deal, with CEOs from partner companies and even some political bigwigs from City A showing up.
It was a major event, and Eula had no clue what to expect since it was her first time.
After the call, Judson turned to her. "Tonight, you're my date."
Eula nodded. "Okay!"
She was his secretary and was used to being his plus-one at these things.
Judson's eyes had a hint of a smile. Tonight's date meant she was more than just his secretary.
He checked the time. "We should head back now."
Two hours later, they rolled back into City A and went straight to the Sails Hotel, a swanky place owned by the Nash Group, where the annual meeting was happening.
The car stopped, and someone opened the door.
Eula stepped out, spotting Winnien and Myles waiting. They greeted Judson respectfully.
"Mr. Nash."
Judson glanced at Eula. "Take her to change."
Winnien nodded. "Ms. Lowe, I'll take you upstairs."
Eula glanced at Judson, who was already walking inside, chatting with Myles, probably about the meeting.
Knowing Judson was about to get busy, Eula nodded to Winnien. "Thanks, Winnien."
For the next few hours, she was in the room, surrounded by makeup artists and stylists.
Eula got a taste of the celebrity life, and it was no joke. Just sitting there to get glammed up was exhausting.
Around 5:30, her makeup and hair were done. Wearing a long red gown, she stood in front of the mirror, barely recognizing herself.
Her bare shoulders looked fair and delicate, and the necklace she wore matched the gown perfectly.
Winnien stood beside her, smiling. "Ms. Lowe, you look stunning!"
Winnien wasn't just being nice. She was the chief secretary, and if Judson needed a date, it would've been her.
But since Eula joined the company, Winnien lost that spot.
Looking at Eula in the red gown, Winnien thought Judson had good taste.
Eula wasn't stuck-up like those socialites. She was more dazzling and had a unique charm that outshone them.
