Chapter 354 The Agreement Ends Here
The execs were all stone-faced, ready to come down hard on Eula for smacking someone.
But now, seeing Judson holding the hand of the woman who threw the punch, looking all worried as he massaged her hand, everyone was floored. Especially the manager, who felt like slapping himself.
Eula saw Judson rolling in with a whole crew and couldn't help but laugh, thinking he was being way too extra.
When she heard what he said next, she was totally speechless.
Judson massaged her hand, then shot a cold look at Fernando, Melissa, and Kristina. "Manager, you should reflect on yourself. Can't you tell the difference between a person and a jerk?"
Melissa's face twisted when she heard that. Judson, this seemingly charming guy, was really good at throwing shade.
Kristina was already shaking in her boots when she saw him coming. She clung to Fernando's sleeve, not daring to meet Judson's eyes.
The manager led the group of execs and employees to the door. Myles, trying to suck up, said, "Ms. Lowe, I'll go take care of the kids, don't worry."
Then he shot a cold glance at the family of three. He used to think they'd be part of the Nash family, but now that they’d pissed off Eula, they could forget about it. Judson would only get harsher with them, so no need to play nice.
Plus, he thought Eula was such a sweet and pretty girl, and they had the nerve to gang up on her. Too much.
Eula said, "Thanks!"
Inside the store, it was just the Lowe family of three, Judson, and Eula left.
Judson pulled Eula to sit on the couch, giving the three standing there a cold look.
Fernando's face was sour because he knew the crap Kristina had been through. Eula had taken Judson away from her, that shameless woman.
Melissa piped up, "Mr. Nash, Eula hit me, and she hit me hard. I can forgive her, but I hope she won't hit anyone again."
Kristina frowned. "Mom, why are you forgiving her? Hitting people is wrong."
Judson held Eula's hand. He already knew from Mario what kind of person Kristina was. So, he saw their current act as just that—an act.
"Mrs. Lowe, I know Eula well. If you hadn't crossed her line, she wouldn't have hit you." Judson figured it was because she had insulted her kids. Eula was fiercely protective of them.
Only her three kids could make her want to hit someone.
Melissa felt a bit guilty, looking around. She knew there were cameras, but she didn't know if they recorded audio. If they did, she’d be in trouble.
She bit her lip, not daring to push too hard. She was scared Judson would use the footage to expose her, but seeing how much he cared about Eula, always holding her hand, made her mad.
What about Kristina? Kristina had said she loved Judson and would only marry him in this life. Kristina was stubborn, clinging to her love for Judson, a love that would only bring her pain in the future.
Fernando jumped in, "Judson, I don't care how powerful you are in City A, but hurting my daughter is not okay. Didn't you come to our house before, saying you wanted to marry Kristina? How could you change your mind so fast?"
Kristina's body trembled when she heard this. She bit her lip tightly, thinking she was going to see Robert later; only he could help her. She had to get Robert to drive Eula away and needed to vent her inner frustration.
Judson sneered, glancing at Kristina. "Sorry, Kristina and I had a deal. She did it for the money, so she pretended to be my girlfriend, nothing more."
