Chapter 268 She Has Long Been My Woman

Dewitt snorted. "Even if she stays single, she wouldn't pick you."

Angie saw the tension rising and looked worried.

"Dewitt, Rodolfo, Judson's our guest today. If Mom finds out you're treating him like this, she'll be mad," she said, trying to calm things down.

Dewitt and Rodolfo went quiet after hearing Angie.

Judson felt a headache coming on. How was he supposed to win over these kids?

He had no idea how to deal with children.

Just then, Eula called out, "Dinner's ready."

Angie slipped on her slippers and stretched her hand toward Judson, saying, "Judson, let's eat!"

Judson stood up and took Angie's tiny hand in his. The height difference made her look even smaller.

At the dining table, the family started eating.

Eula served food to the kids and gave some to Judson too.

"Mr. Nash, thanks for the ingredients," she said.

Judson ate gracefully and gave Eula a look that made her heart race.

She didn't know why, but Judson's gaze always made her nervous now.

She felt like she was losing her cool.

Just then, Eula's phone rang. It was Geoffrey. "Hello?"

"Eula, I'm at your door. Dewitt said you're having dinner at the new house, so I thought I'd join," Geoffrey replied.

The doorbell rang.

"Can you let me in?" Geoffrey asked.

Eula glanced at Judson, feeling flustered. Geoffrey showing up now was not ideal.

She hoped Geoffrey wouldn't say anything awkward. The stuff she had said at the Lowe house was just for the kids.

Mary heard the doorbell. "I'll get it."

They had just moved in today and already had a guest. Mary was surprised too.

In a moment, Mary brought Geoffrey into the dining room. "Eula, Mr. Hopkins is here."

The room's atmosphere turned icy, the temperature dropping dramatically.

Judson glared at Geoffrey as he walked in, their eyes locking in a tense stare.

Mary brought Geoffrey a set of utensils, and he sat down.

"Sorry I'm late," he said calmly.

Rodolfo smiled. "Daddy, no matter how late you come, there's always food for you."

Dewitt chimed in, "Hi, Daddy."

Angie's eyes widened in shock. Since when was Geoffrey their daddy?

She had just called Judson that, and now she had to switch to Geoffrey? She quickly looked down and kept eating.

Eula was stunned too. Dewitt and Rodolfo were doing this on purpose, weren't they?

Geoffrey smiled at Judson.

"Mr. Nash, these three are Eula's and my kids. We met her family yesterday, and we're getting married soon."

Eula was so shocked she dropped her utensils, looking awkward.

"Sorry!" She bent down to pick up the fork, then glanced at Dewitt, Rodolfo, and Geoffrey. What were they up to?

Judson's expression was cold and intimidating.

He looked at Eula. "Eula, tell him what we did an hour ago."

Eula had just taken a bite and started coughing.

Seeing her scared, Judson smiled mischievously. "Geoffrey, you can fool others, but not me. Eula's been my woman for a long time. An hour ago, we were together."

Eula lowered her eyes, crying out in her mind, 'How could he say that?!'

Now, she was truly embarrassed.

Geoffrey's face turned pale as he looked at Eula, his eyes filled with sadness.

He said, "Mr. Nash, I don't believe a word you say. I know exactly what kind of person Eula is."
