Chapter 495 Isn't That Spoiling Too Much!
Eula quickly ran to the three children and stood in front of them. "Melissa, what are you doing?"
Melissa's face turned pale when she heard her name being called directly.
After all, the servants were around, and so were several of the family's brothers, all watching!
"Eula, how could you be so impolite? Even if I'm not your biological mother, you should respect me."
Eula saw Angie crying and cupped her little face. "Angie, what's wrong?"
Angie pouted and pointed to her head. "She pulled out a bunch of my hair, it hurts so much!"
The child didn't understand why she would pull her hair. Angie loved her long hair the most; to her, it was a treasure.
Eula glared angrily at Melissa. "You pulled her hair, she's just a child. If you have a problem, come at me."
Melissa showed a hint of nervousness when she heard these words.
She had to distance herself from the hair-pulling incident, so it wouldn't be linked to the paternity test.
Melissa's expression changed instantly because David was coming downstairs. She had to act like a loving stepmother and a loving grandmother. "Eula, you misunderstood. There was a bug on her head just now. I panicked, afraid it would bite her, so I accidentally pulled her hair. I really didn't mean any harm."
Her voice was loud enough for everyone around to hear.
Even David heard it. He walked over and asked. "Angie, what's wrong?"
He smiled warmly at Angie, looking incredibly kind.
When Angie saw him, she opened her little arms, wanting to be held.
David picked her up. "Great-grandfather, this lady pulled my hair, it hurt so much!"
Angie was very good at complaining, especially in front of so many people.
She also wanted to protect Eula and her two brothers.
David was not unreasonable. Even if he spoiled the children, he wouldn't do it blindly. "Then let me blow on it, and it won't hurt anymore."
Angie nodded, "Okay!"
As she said this, she glanced at Melissa. She remembered that this lady was bad and decided to stay far away from her in the future.
Eula said a few words to her two sons; she didn't want to make a fuss.
"Grandpa, it's getting late. I'll take the kids home." Eula said.
At this moment, Patricia and Debra walked over. "Eula, since you're back with the Lowe family, why not move back in?"
Pleasing David was beneficial for them, especially when Melissa was being put in her place. They wanted to curry favor with David even more. Maybe their husbands would gain some status in the company.
Maybe if David was happy, he would give the inheritance to their husbands, which would be even better.
They pulled Eula aside, talking to her.
Melissa frowned, thinking these people just loved to flatter. She crossed her arms over her chest.
Even if Eula was favored by David now, they should see who married into the top family in City A and who brought honor to this family.
In the end, they would all have to come and flatter her.
Eula said, "No, thank you. I'd rather live outside."
She looked at David, and just a moment ago in her room, David had asked her if she wants to move back in.
She had refused, saying they liked the villa he had given them and wanted to live there.
Eula held her two sons' hands and then said to Angie. "Angie, come down. Great-grandfather can't hold you anymore."
Angie clung tightly to David's neck. "No, I like him holding me. It's so warm."
She pressed her little face against his, her chubby cheeks feeling very soft. David was overjoyed. "Angie is very clever. I like her a lot. It's okay, I can still hold her."
