Chapter 286 The Feeling of Being Protected is Really Nice

Kristina had never heard Judson sound so cold. Her heart sank as she felt really uncomfortable.

She shook her head, "Judson, that's not what I meant. Mia said it was fake."

Kristina's voice was hoarse, almost on the verge of tears.

Judson sneered. "Mia said it, so you believe it? Your judgment is terrible."

He didn't bother explaining the necklace was worth $150 million. He just snorted, holding Eula.

"Let's go!" Judson said.

Those two words were unusually warm, making everyone feel like there were two different Judsons - the angry one and the gentle one.

Judson held Eula as they walked a bit. His fingers pinched her waist.

"Why did you run off?" he asked.

In a blink, she was gone, and he had people searching for her.

Eula had actually gone to the bar while he was looking around the dance floor.

"Next time, if you get lost, stay put and wait, okay?" he said gently.

Eula laughed. She had told Angie this countless times, afraid she’d get lost. Now, hearing Judson say it to her, she felt his fear.

Eula hugged his waist, burying her face in his chest.

Smelling his cool scent, she smiled. "Okay, I got it."

She had wanted to throw a tantrum at Judson, but now, all her anger vanished, and hugging him made her feel safe.

Judson smiled, gently stroking her back.

"Dance with me," he asked.

They held hands, bowed, and glided onto the dance floor.

Eula hadn't danced like this in a while. She thought she'd mess up, but with Judson as her partner, she worried for nothing.

They became the most eye-catching pair on the dance floor. Hugo, holding Pamela, smiled. "Baby, want to dance too?"

Watching Judson and Eula dance so sweetly made him envious.

Pamela nodded. "Let's go! I'm not scared."

Pamela had a way of speaking that was both confident and daring. She was special with a little temper, and Hugo liked that about her.

As the little princess of the Gray family, she was spoiled by everyone.

Hugo and Pamela glided onto the dance floor, dancing well, too.

As they passed Eula and Judson, Hugo said, "Nice moves, Judson."

Judson had never danced in front of everyone before. When forced, he’d just go through the motions.

But today, with all the spins and twirls, even Hugo wanted to cheer.

Judson glanced at him. "You're not bad either."

Pamela laughed, "Hugo, Judson has such a personality. He doesn't care about these things."

Eula laughed too. Seeing Hugo's smile fade, she laughed even more.

"Judson, you're too mean," she said. "Look at Hugo's face now. He might step on Pamela's foot because of what you said."

Just then, Pamela exclaimed. "Hugo, you stepped on my foot. It hurts!"

Hugo snapped back, pressing his lips. "Baby, I'm sorry! Want me to carry you upstairs to rest?"

The lounge upstairs was for clients, and Hugo's intention was clear.

Pamela quickly refused. "No, you said you wouldn't have a sexual relationship with me before I turn 18. I'm not 18 yet!"
