Chapter 323 Relying on Robert
When Robert spotted her, his eyes got this dark, sneaky look. Judson's favorite girl had shown up.
Kristina had nothing on Eula. Eula was a total knockout and adorable to boot. Robert was seriously questioning Judson's taste again.
Kristina noticed Robert rolling his eyes and got all worried. "Mr. Nash, you good?"
She started patting his back like crazy, making Robert cough like there was no tomorrow.
Robert was about to pass out from all the patting, gripping his wheelchair like his life depended on it, his whole body stiff as a board.
Jessica and Judson got up and walked over. Judson told a servant to get the doc.
He stood there, watching Robert with narrowed eyes.
Kristina showed up, and Robert got this hyped?
Why was Robert so into Kristina? Judson just couldn't get it.
He sighed. He had planned to send Kristina packing, but seeing Robert so pumped, he figured he'd let the old man have his fun for a bit.
The doc wheeled Robert into a bedroom on the first floor, and Jessica, wiping her tears, followed behind.
"Robert, relax! What's with all the drama? Save that energy for when Judson brings home a great-grandkid." Jessica thought Robert was all hyped because Kristina was there. He'd never been this excited to see them, but Kristina? She made him so happy that Jessica felt a bit jealous.
Judson went into Robert's room too. Kristina stood there, wanting to go in but too scared to. She pressed her lips together, her eyes sparkling with a smile. So it was true, Robert liked her this much? He got this excited seeing her. She couldn't help but grin. She was so happy. She had hope again. With Robert on her side, even if Judson didn't like her, she could still get close to him. 'Awesome! Just awesome!'
After a bit, Judson came out. He glanced at Kristina. "Stay for Christmas. I'll cover the costs."
Then he turned and went upstairs. Jessica came out, looking more relaxed. "Kristina, hang out for a bit. I'll check if the food's ready in the kitchen."
Kristina replied, "Okay, Mrs. Nash."
She looked at the Nash family, still so cold even during Christmas. They must've wanted Judson to get hitched and have kids soon. She had to grab this chance.
Judson went back to his room and texted Eula: [What time you coming back tonight?]
Then he lit a cigarette, taking a deep drag, staring at the Nash family estate. It was a cloudy day, and he could see a layer of mist in the distance.
He finished the cigarette, but his phone stayed silent. Eula hadn't replied.
His mood darkened. For the first time, he wanted to spend Christmas with someone and wish her a Merry Christmas.
But tonight, he had to stay here with Robert and Jessica.
Even if he went back to Starry Villa, it would be after midnight.
Over an hour later, the Nash family dinner was ready. Kristina came upstairs to get Judson for dinner.
She stood at his bedroom door, fixed her hair, and adjusted her clothes to show off her chest a bit more.
Then she smiled and knocked on the door, "Judson, Mrs. Nash asked me to call you down for dinner."
After a moment, Judson opened the door, giving her a faint look.
Kristina checked out Judson, who was rocking a gray sweater and casual pants, totally different from his usual suit and tie.
This version of him was less intense and more chill, making him seem more approachable.
This side of him was only for family, and Kristina was thrilled.
Her heart was racing. She tried to stay calm, her smile growing wider. "Judson, it's time for dinner."
