Chapter 259 Ambiguity in the Elevator
Eula was in an exceptionally good mood today and poured Judson his favorite black coffee without milk or sugar.
Judson took a sip and squinted slightly.
Having gotten used to the very sweet coffee Eula usually made, he found himself unaccustomed to the taste of the black coffee.
He glanced at her lightly, and Eula hummed a tune as she placed a stack of documents in front of him.
"Mr. Nash, these need your signature by three o'clock! And this project proposal requires your review; it will be discussed in tomorrow's meeting."
After speaking, Eula hummed again and turned to walk back to her desk.
"Ms. Lowe, in a good mood today?" Joson asked.
Eula paused and replied, "No, not really!"
They were about to move soon, so of course, she was in a good mood. Having their own home meant they wouldn't have to worry about being kicked out by the landlord.
'Is it that obvious? Even Judson noticed?' she wondered.
Judson sneered coldly. "Did you win the lottery?"
Eula sat down at her desk and saw a few messages. She opened them.
Tiffany: [Eula, the magnolia theme you designed is great, and it will be featured in the fall show. If you have time, come to the school and finish the sample garments.]
Eula was so excited when she read the message that she almost jumped up.
Her designs were going to be on the runway. This was Eula's dream, hoping that one day her creations would be worn by models and showcased at such events.
This year, her luck had turned around. She had a good job and now a house.
And she had achieved her dream. Eula could hardly believe it.
With trembling hands, Eula replied: [Okay, Tiffany, I will work even harder.]
After sending the message, Eula propped her chin and imagined the scene of the DK Spring Show, then thought about her designs hanging in major stores, with people scrambling to buy them.
The image was just too perfect to be true.
Just as Eula was grinning like a fool, Judson knocked on the table.
"Come with me to the construction site in the east of the city."
Eula's daydream was shattered. She stood up abruptly, grabbed her coat, put it on, and followed Judson into the elevator.
The elevator only had the two of them. Judson took a step closer to her, forcing her against the elevator wall.
Eula pointed to the camera in fright. "Mr. Nash, there's a camera. Mind your image."
Thinking about yesterday's kiss still made Eula's scalp tingle; Judson was an excellent kisser.
Eula couldn't handle it, so she was terrified that Judson would do something in the elevator and be seen by others. She would be too embarrassed to face anyone.
Judson smiled slightly. "Do you want me to kiss you?"
Eula was about to go crazy, her fair hand tugging at his coat. "Mr. Nash, I didn't mean that."
But seeing her rosy lips, Judson couldn't control himself and wanted a taste.
He hadn't had enough yesterday! So he stretched out his long arm, trapping her between the elevator and himself.
Eula watched as Judson's handsome face got closer and closer until her lips were captured by his, gently kissing her lips.
Eula's hands clutched his coat tightly, trembling with nervousness.
Internally, she kept roaring, 'Judson, not here, not now!'
But Judson had already kissed her, and he was sure that no one in the monitoring room would dare to peek.
Thinking of this, Judson kissed Eula while coldly glancing at the camera.
The person on the other side was so scared that they directly turned off the elevator's monitoring system, and Judson smiled triumphantly.
Eula was completely lost. As a novice in love, she didn't understand anything.
She was being swept away by Judson, completely at his mercy.
As the elevator reached the ground floor, and the door slowly opened, Myles, standing at the entrance, quickly covered his eyes, pretending he hadn't seen anything.
