Chapter 425 Men Love Their Pride

Now, even disregarding his own life, he wanted to see her.

Two equally tall men followed him out. Judson stood in front of the elevator and pressed the button.

"Judson, I'll go with you." Elbert was worried about him, but if he went, he could also keep Darcy company tonight.

Judson didn't speak. He had taken painkillers and felt much better than before, but it still hurt.

He kept a cold expression, not wanting to talk.

The light cast a soft glow on his handsome profile, contrasting sharply with his current cold demeanor.

Hugo frowned, "Judson, don't always disregard yourself because of her."

This was something only a close brother would say. Judson glanced over, a faint smile crossing his eyes. "It's not her fault; it's the fault of the person who hurt her."

Judson never dealt with women harshly because he was a man and didn't want to argue with women. But Kristina's actions had completely angered him.

At this moment, the elevator arrived, and Elbert said, "Hugo, we're leaving. I'll see you off at the airport tomorrow."

Then the elevator doors slowly closed, and the two men stood side by side.

Both equally tall, Judson wore a black suit, while Elbert dressed casually in a gray T-shirt and gray pants. This comparison made Judson appear more aloof, while Elbert seemed more easygoing.

Darcy returned to the ward just as Eula came out of the bathroom, drying her hands with a tissue.

Seeing her return, Eula said calmly, "I'm heading back."

Darcy hugged her, a slight smile on her lips. "Eula, what if Judson comes to pick you up?"

Given her current state, Darcy was worried about her going back alone.

A dark expression crossed Eula's previously calm face, and she became visibly angry. "Tell him to get lost. I don't need him."

She threw the tissue heavily into the trash can and grabbed her bag. "I've called a car; it should be here soon. I'm leaving now. Don't worry about me, just take good care of Estelle. By the way, when is Estelle's surgery next week? I'll come to keep you company then."

Darcy smiled. Eula was like that—she seemed gentle and weak, but she was actually very strong and stubborn. "Don't get angry; you have a head injury! You can't get angry."

Eula nodded slightly. She walked to Estelle's bed and kissed her on the cheek.

As Eula stood up, she looked at Estelle and said, "Darcy, your good days are coming. Hang in there!"

Darcy found it amusing, "Yes, we both need to hang in there!"

Darcy had a servant stay in the ward while she escorted Eula downstairs. The two women stood by the roadside waiting for the car.

Under the streetlights, both women had great figures, long legs, and slim waists, and they were both very attractive.

Eula had a sweet look, while Darcy had a stunning and aloof beauty. They were two different types.

There weren't many passersby at this time, but those who did pass couldn't help but take a few more glances at them. Everyone loved to look at beautiful women.

Just then, a Bentley pulled up beside them.

Elbert got out of the car, his long limbs making him stand out as he stood next to Darcy and pulled her into his arms.

"Darcy, I'll stay with you tonight." He raised an eyebrow and smiled.

A tall figure also appeared beside Eula. She hadn't reacted yet, but when she saw Judson standing in front of her, she panicked.

She turned to run but was grabbed by him.

"Eula, I'm here to take you home." He instinctively glanced at her head, which was wrapped in bandages, and his eyes filled with concern. "What happened?"

Tears welled up in Eula's eyes. She was usually very emotional and would cry whenever she felt wronged.

But at this moment, she was trying hard to hold back her tears, not wanting him to see her cry. She felt it was embarrassing.
