Chapter 481 A Strange Feeling
Eula stared with wide eyes, wondering what to do.
In the end, she could only press her lips together and say nothing.
She felt uneasy inside, especially now with Geoffrey acting this way, who had already been somewhat depressed.
She could only endure it and wait for a chance to explain everything clearly in the future.
David saw their expressions and decided not to say anything more. "Eula, Geoffrey is now in your care. Take him around and introduce him to friends and family."
Eula thought that everyone should have already met him, so she didn't need to introduce him again.
"Okay, Grandpa." Eula grabbed Geoffrey's hand. "I'll take you for a walk."
Actually, given his eyesight, she thought it might be better not to walk around.
A wheelchair would be more convenient.
Geoffrey smiled warmly and held her hand tightly. "Mr. Lowe, we'll be going out now. We won't disturb you."
David looked at Geoffrey. Whether in speech or demeanor, he was outstanding. Eula wouldn't lose out on being with him, except for his eyes.
He said he could be cured, so he must have found a doctor.
If he could be cured, that would be good. David felt relieved.
Geoffrey noticed the hint of sadness on Eula's face. When she was unhappy, she would become a bit dazed, like now.
He furrowed his brows slightly and spoke. "Eula, are you upset that I came here?"
After all, she had been rejecting him, and yet he came and promised David he would treat her well. These promises indicated that they were to get married.
Eula shook her head. "I'm not upset. No one dares to stop what my grandpa wants to do. Geoffrey, I don't know how to cover up the lie you told earlier."
She pouted, annoyed that Geoffrey told David that he was the father of three children.
If they changed the story now, it would be a lie before, which was really annoying!
At that time, she was also momentarily confused. To prevent the three children from being called illegitimate, she didn't explain.
Indeed, people shouldn't lie. Lies required countless other lies to cover up. It was exhausting!
Geoffrey tightened his grip on her hand. "Eula, even in my current state, do you despise me?"
With that, he tried to let go of her hand, but Eula quickly held on, not letting go. "Don't let go, be careful not to fall."
Geoffrey's face turned cold, and his voice was low and deep. "Eula, I genuinely consider the three children as my own. Do you want them to be seen as illegitimate?"
Of course, she didn't want that, and she didn't want the three children to be affected. "Geoffrey, I know you're doing this for our good. Let's not talk about it anymore."
This matter was really hard to explain.
She opened the door and carefully helped him out.
Sierra had been waiting at the door, holding a lot of food, with cream still on her lips.
Seeing the two come out, she happily ran up to Geoffrey. "Mr. Hopkins, this place is so much fun! There are so many delicious things."
Geoffrey furrowed his brows. "Then find a place to eat your food by yourself. Don't follow us."
With Sierra around, it was inconvenient.
It was better for just the two of them to be together. That way, it would be easier to build their relationship.
Sierra blinked her big eyes. "Mr. Hopkins, can you manage without me?"
She was used to taking care of him and worried he couldn't manage without her while pretending to be blind.
Eula smiled. "You go have fun. I'll take care of him."
Eula had become very good at taking care of people, thanks to Judson's personal training. Her skills were now quite strong.
Sierra nodded but suddenly found the snacks not as sweet. She was a bit puzzled. What was wrong with her?
Had she really gotten used to being a little servant?
