Chapter 239 Marriage into a Prominent Family

"It's hard to believe that Eula is a mom," someone remarked.
"Yeah, so young and pretty," another chimed in.
Listening to the surrounding comments, Eula's hands clenched slightly. She lightly bit her lip. Her three kids were the best gifts given to her by fate, and she couldn't let Melissa slander them like that.
Soon, she relaxed. She didn't care about the mockery from these people. Raising an eyebrow, she said, "Mrs. Brewer, Judson likes me because I have three children. He finds children adorable, and that's how he noticed their mother is lovely, too. So what if I've had children? As long as Judson likes me, nothing could influence that."
Suddenly, everyone present fell silent. Even if Eula wasn't a good woman, as long as Judson liked her, no one had the right to judge her.
If Eula became Judson's wife, they would have even less reason to criticize her.
Today, Eula stood there because she was recognized by the Nash family. And Melissa, who claimed Eula stole her daughter's fiancé, had anyone seen her daughter at the socialite party?
Therefore, her daughter wasn't recognized by the Nash family.
Jessica smiled. "Well said. The Nash family values character. You are kind and capable of raising three children on your own. Judson has good taste, and our whole family looks forward to you marrying into our family."
After Jessica's words, everyone applauded.
Seeing Melissa's upset face, Eula felt satisfied. Although she was only accompanying Jessica today and not Judson's girlfriend, making Melissa uncomfortable, pretending to be Judson's girlfriend for a moment, was still worth it.
Jessica asked, "Who brought Mrs. Melissa in? Has she paid the membership fee?"
Anna nervously raised her hand. "I brought Melissa in. She's my cousin, and she's always asking me to take her to the socialite party. I've paid the fee."
With this question, everyone realized that Melissa had no right to be there. Next, everyone took their seats and enjoyed coffee and snacks.
Eula sat next to Jessica. Jessica picked up a piece of pastry and said, "This pastry is good, have some more."
Eula took a bite and tasted the rose flavor, which was fresh and perfectly sweet.
Many people approached Eula to exchange business cards. Since Eula didn't have any, she added them on Facebook.
She felt that knowing these socialites would benefit her in the future.
After she completed her fashion design studies, she could open a studio, and these people could be her clients.
Thinking about this, Eula smiled happily. Today's outing with Jessica was truly rewarding.
Eula drank a lot of coffee and tried various delicacies, finding this gathering quite special.
Everyone said these flower petals were good for beauty and skincare.
Eula told Jessica beside her, "Mrs. Nash, I'm going to the restroom."
Jessica nodded slightly, and Eula headed out, passing by Myosotis, where Shirley Wright was picking flowers. When Shirley saw her, she handed the flowers to her servant. "Eula, congratulations! Judson is much better than Geoffrey!"
Typically, mothers only see their own sons as outstanding. Shirley's words weren't meant to belittle her son. She simply hoped that Eula wouldn't have any relationship with Geoffrey.
Eula always felt grateful to the Hopkins family.
Because of Geoffrey's kindness towards her and her kids, she was also grateful to his family.
