Chapter 440 Sick

Eula had fallen asleep and didn't hear his warning at all. Instead, she wrapped herself around him even tighter, her leg sliding down and brushing against a certain part of him.

Judson was really feeling hot and bothered, and in the end, he couldn't take it anymore.

He had to sit up and head to the bathroom, letting the cold water pour over him to calm down.

He stayed in the shower for a long, long time before the heat finally subsided.

The next day, Eula's alarm went off. She reached for her phone and saw that it was already past nine.

Although today's award ceremony was in the afternoon and she could sleep in, she had plans to go shopping with Liam to buy gifts for the three kids.

They had planned to leave at ten and be back at the hotel by four to get ready for the seven o'clock ceremony.

Eula felt really tired. It was all Judson's fault for keeping her up half the night. If she hadn't been clever, she might not have been able to get out of bed today.

His arm was still draped over her waist. She gently tapped his arm with her small hand and smiled with squinted eyes.

Even with her doing this, he didn't wake up. This guy slept even more soundly than she did!

So she turned around and started tracing his eyebrows with her long fingers, then his eyes.

Eula paused for a moment. Why did his face look like it had a blush, with a thin layer of red? It actually looked quite nice, like a sickly beauty.

She pressed her face against his. Feeling his temperature, it was noticeably high.

Judson woke up, wrapped his long arm around her, and spoke in a low, incredibly sexy voice. "Eula, stop it. I'm really tired."

He was genuinely tired, so much so that he couldn't open his eyes.

Eula, however, got worried. "Judson, you seem to have a fever."

Just as Hugo had said, it was a good thing she didn't let him continue last night.

Hearing this, Judson opened his eyes, which were a bit red. "Hmm?"

He was usually very healthy. How could he have a fever? Was it because of the cold shower last night?

When did he become so fragile?

A bit annoyed, he pulled her closer. "It's nothing, just a minor issue."

Eula didn't think so. Having taken care of kids for so long, illness was a big deal in her eyes.

She remembered clearly all those times Angie had a fever and ended up in the hospital.

She sat up and tucked him in. "I'm going to buy you some medicine. You stay put."

Judson watched her, seeing the worry written all over her face. He smiled slightly, feeling quite good.

He suddenly thought this fever wasn't so bad after all; he was quite enjoying it.

Eula went to the bathroom to change clothes. When she came out, she saw him half-leaning against the headboard, looking incredibly handsome in that casual manner.

Eula's eyes were filled with affection for him.

Judson, with his chest half-exposed, looked at her.

Eula quickly shook her head to clear her mind. This guy was too enchanting, almost making her lose herself.

"Judson, lie down. You can't catch a chill." With that, she went over and pushed him down. "Hurry up, stop messing around."

Eula was very worried about him. He smiled and obediently said, "Okay! Come back soon."

Eula paused for a moment. The way he said that reminded her a bit of Angie.

It was as if he would be scared to be alone, which was a strange emotion to see in Judson.

But then again, he was sick, so being a bit vulnerable was normal.

Eula gave a warm smile. "Alright, I'll come back right after I get the medicine."

Watching Eula leave, the smile on Judson's face disappeared. His deteriorating health made him a bit unhappy.

He grabbed his phone and dialed Hugo's number.
