Chapter 407 Explanation

Judson glanced at Kristina in the car. She was indeed impressive, being able to help Robert recover.

But if she thought that just because Robert was better, she could control him, she was mistaken. He wouldn't let her have her way.

He ignored Robert and turned to walk over to Eula's car.

Angie poked her little head out, her smile sweet. "Uncle Judson, are you coming with us? But there's no room."

As she spoke, she glanced inside the car. Her two brothers and she were sitting in the back, and Judson was so tall, there was no way he could fit.

Eula's face was gloomy, not in the mood for anything.

She leaned back in her seat, staring blankly outside.

Why did Robert seem like a different person after he got better? He used to be so kind to her and the three kids.

Now, it seemed like he hated her, and that feeling of being disliked was awful.

Eula kept wondering if Kristina had done something to make Robert hate her so much.

Darcy wasn't much better off. She had always treated Eula as her best friend.

She had seen clearly what had just happened; Robert's recognized girlfriend was Kristina, not Eula.

Thinking about how Eula wasn't accepted made her really feel bad for her.

Darcy used to think Judson was great, from his looks to his family background and his abilities. Such a man was every woman's dream.

So many people in City A wanted to marry him. Eula being liked by him was like winning the lottery.

She used to support Eula, hoping she could marry Judson, so no one would dare to bully her anymore.

She would have someone to rely on and wouldn't have to work so hard.

But today, she had changed her mind.

Eula wanting to marry into the Nash family would be very difficult. Seeing Robert's attitude, Eula was in for a tough time.

She sighed deeply. Forget it, women like them, with kids, shouldn't dream of marrying into a wealthy family, let alone a good man.

Darcy resigned herself to fate. She used to see Eula as her life goal.

She wanted to be like her, find a good man, and get married again.

Judson walked over to Eula's side and opened the car door. "Get out."

Eula snapped out of her daze and saw his cold expression. Her big eyes blinked like grapes. "What are you doing?"

Judson didn't answer but bent down and picked her up.

She let out a surprised cry, "Judson."

But Judson didn't care. He kicked the car door shut and told Darcy. "See you in City A!"

He carried Eula and strode towards the Bentley. Darcy watched the scene and couldn't help but think.

Judson carrying Eula looked like a scene from a romance drama, very picturesque.

It wasn't until they were all in the car and it drove away that she snapped out of it.

"Kids, buckle up. I'm taking you home." Darcy said.

Angie giggled, "Uncle Judson is so cool, he just carried Mommy away. So handsome!"

Dewitt and Rodolfo exchanged a glance and then started checking if Angie's seatbelt was fastened properly.

Darcy watched as Angie was taken care of by her two brothers and couldn't help but think of her own daughter.

If she could have triplets, Estelle would also be taken care of by her brothers. Maybe she wouldn't have to suffer so much.

In the car, Eula sat by the window, and Judson kept glancing over.

"Eula, are you planning to stay far away from me forever?" His voice was low and hoarse, tinged with displeasure and strong anger.

Eula finally scooted a little closer to him, then turned her gaze away.

Judson couldn't stand it. He didn't like her being so far from him, so he pulled her into his arms, holding her tightly. Smelling the faint sweet scent on her, he felt much better. "Eula, what my grandfather said doesn't represent my views, understand?"
