Chapter 258 Finally Have a Home
Angie leaned in, grabbed it with her tiny fingers, and then waved it at Geoffrey. "Geoffrey, could you help me see what this is?"
Because Eula seemed to be in shock, Angie shook her several times, but Eula didn't respond.
Geoffrey took it, examined it briefly, then let out a smile. "This is a gift from your grandfather. It's a big house!"
Angie's eyes widened in surprise. "Really? Do we have our own home now?"
Dewitt and Rodolfo also saw it, their expressions very calm, neither excited nor sad, just a normal feeling.
Geoffrey looked at Eula, his voice was very pleasant, deep with a touch of warmth. "Your grandfather must have spoiled you a lot."
Eula finally came to her senses, put away the property deed, and nodded slightly. "It was because my grandfather spoiled me too much that others got jealous, and then..."
Eula didn't finish her sentence. She felt that airing these grievances to others was useless.
Her pain and her hatred, only she could truly understand.
Just then, Eula's phone rang. It was Shirley calling. Eula glanced at Geoffrey, who was happily chatting with Angie and the others.
Eula had a premonition and answered the call. "Hello."
"Eula, what do you mean by bringing Geoffrey home? Even if you're a lady of the Lowe family, we don't care. Stay away from Geoffrey in the future."
Eula's ears were almost deafened by Shirley's yelling. It was clear that Shirley was very angry.
She frowned slightly. "I didn't bring him home. Don't worry. I have nothing to do with him."
Hearing this, Shirley let out a cold laugh. "It better be as you say. Aren't you with Judson now? Don't come bothering Geoffrey again."
With that, Shirley angrily hung up the phone. Eula listened to the voice mail and sighed.
She knew that with Geoffrey coming to her house today, Melissa wouldn't just let it go and would definitely complain.
She put away her phone and glanced at Geoffrey, who was engaging in games with with the three kids.
Geoffrey had a great relationship with the three kids and had helped her a lot over the years.
Although Shirley had just called to scold her, Eula wasn't angry because that was Geoffrey's mother.
Geoffrey looked over. "Who was on the phone?"
He seemed to have heard a few words and thought it might be Shirley.
Eula shook her head. "Wrong number."
But Geoffrey wasn't so easily fooled. "Eula, don't worry about what my mom thinks. My feelings are what matter most."
Eula smiled. "A marriage without family blessings won't be happy either!"
The two couldn't continue the conversation after that.
Geoffrey looked at her deeply. "Eula, let me handle these things. Please consider me. Don't give up on me."
Suddenly, Geoffrey became very humble, so humble that it made Eula's heart ache.
Eula couldn't say anything harsh, so she leaned back in her seat and looked at the street scene outside.
The next day, Eula got up, and the three kids were already in the dining room. When she walked in, Angie giggled.
"Eula, don't forget we are going house hunting after work today!"
They had already decided to choose a house they all liked to live in and rent out the others.
This way, they could collect rent every month, and with Eula's salary, she wouldn't have to work so hard.
Eula sat down and took a sip of milk. "Okay, I'll come back early."
Angie was holding three property deeds, opening them one by one to look at. "Does this mean I can have my own princess room in the future?"
Dewitt replied, "When the time comes, Angie gets to choose first. Whichever room you like, we'll make it into a princess room for you."
Eula looked at the excited faces of the three kids and couldn't help but smile. 'David's really generous,' she wondered.
