Chapter 25 The Ring Was Stolen

After Grandma Nash arrived on the fourth floor, she took the elevator down again, causing the servant and Kristina Lowe to panic.
"Old Madam, where are you going?" "Old Madam, please take it slow." The two of them chased after her again.
Grandma Nash searched the third floor but couldn't find the two children. She stood there feeling disappointed until the servant and Kristina Lowe caught up with her.
"Old Madam, please walk slowly and be careful of falling." The servant supported her, fearing she would wander off again.
Grandma Nash sighed. She must have gone insane with worrying about her great-grandchild.
Seeing those children, she wondered if it could be Judson's lost child.
The more she thought about it, the more she felt like she was being ridiculous. Judson was such an intelligent child, how could he not know if someone got pregnant?
And in all these years, he had never been with any woman.
The only one was Eula, but unfortunately, that girl had a child.
Nobody would want their grandson to marry someone who had been married before and had children, someone as excellent as Judson Nash.
Kristina Lowe smiled and said, "Grandma Nash, are you tired? Why don't we go for afternoon tea first!" She thought that the old lady was getting older and might not be able to handle shopping.
Having a cup of afternoon tea should be fine for her. Grandma Nash no longer had the mood to shop now.
She thought about her eldest grandson's unresolved wedding, while her husband had been sick all this time.
Eula Lowe hobbled out of the security room, feeling unlucky.
It was unfortunate to encounter a thief in a shopping mall like this. She took the elevator back to the amusement area on the third floor, where Angie was sweating profusely from playing.
Rodolfo was wiping her sweat, and Dewitt was holding a children's water bottle for her to drink. When they saw Eula Lowe return, the three children waited for her.
Dewitt and Rodolfo noticed that she was having trouble with her foot, so they went over to support her. "Mommy, did you sprain your foot?"
She squeezed out a smile.
"The floor here is too slippery, and I twisted my ankle."
She didn't tell them about what just happened, not wanting them to be upset as well.
Angie brought Eula Lowe a water cup and said, "Eula, have some water."
Eula Lowe took the thermos cup and drank a few sips of warm water, feeling alive again.
She smiled and said to the three children, "Go play, I'll sit here and wait for you."
Angie went back inside with her two brothers, playing with great excitement.
Eula Lowe rested her chin on her hand and stared blankly ahead. Perhaps that ring never belonged to her, perhaps she will never find that scumbag in her lifetime. Losing it was just fate.
...
At the green golf course in the outskirts, the weather was lovely today. The deep blue sky had no clouds, and the warm winter sun made people feel comfortable.
Hugo Pitts held the golf club, struck a stylish pose, and then swung the club, sending the ball flying far but not into the hole.
Elbert Hicks said, "Kay, it's been so long, and your golf skills are still so poor?"
Judson Nash swung the club, and the ball went straight into the hole.
Hugo Pitts said, "I give up, I can't beat you guys."
Elbert Hicks was a military officer, a brigadier general, and they only saw each other once a year.
He came back this time because his grandfather at home forced him to come back for a blind date. He was getting older and needed to consider carrying on the family line.
The three of them walked over and sat at a resting stone table, picking up their drinks and taking a sip.
Hugo Pitts wore a white sportswear and a white duckbill cap. He raised his hand and pressed down the brim, covering his eyes.
Sitting across from him were two men exuding a heroic aura, both wearing black sportswear.
Elbert Hicks had darker skin, the authentic color of mahogany.
Judson Nash was a few shades lighter than him, but had a healthier complexion.
He glanced at the time; it was 4 o'clock in the afternoon. He then took out his phone and sent a message to Eula Lowe.
[Tonight, I want to eat hotpot.]
After sending it, he held onto his phone, waiting for that girl to reply.
So, he would check, which annoyed the two men beside him.
Elbert Hicks asked, "Judson, don't tell me you have a woman now?"
When he came back yesterday, Hugo Pitts had dinner with him, and he also made plans with Judson Nash, but Judson Nash said he was busy and couldn't make it.
Hugo Pitts kept telling him that Judson couldn't come because he had to accompany his woman.
He didn't believe it and thought Hugo Pitts was unreliable, despite being skilled in medicine.
Judson Nash stood up and said, "I'm going to take a shower and change clothes."
He didn't seem interested in chatting, and Elbert
Hicks was a little disappointed. He glanced at Hugo Pitts and then they both stood up, each placing an arm around Judson Nash's shoulder.
"Judson, tonight we're going to your house for dinner, and we can have a drink as well."
Seeing the hopeful expressions in their eyes, Judson Nash agreed.
"Sure."
He then walked away from their grasp and sent a message to that girl with his phone.
"Don't come tonight, we have a break!"
