Chapter 50 Explanation

Eula didn't hand over the dessert. She didn't want to give it to that woman, so she pretended not to hear.

Kristina saw that she didn't give it to her and knew what she was thinking.

She kicked the back of her seat and said, "Eula, didn't you hear? Judson bought this for me."

Now Kristina was completely sure. The reason Eula appeared in his house was because she had become his secretary. Nothing more.

Even if she was here to act, she had to make Eula uncomfortable.

Judson was slightly displeased with Kristina kicking Eula's seat a moment ago, and his gaze turned slightly cold.

But seeing the angry look on the girl's face, he said,

"Miss Lowe, this was bought for my grandfather. Can't you give it to him?"

Grandpa woke up, so Judson had asked Kristina to come and pick her up to go together to the Nash family estate.

Only now did Eula understand. "Oh!"

At least he explained. It wasn't for nothing that she had run errands to buy pastries for Kristina.

An hour and a half later, the car stopped in the parking lot of the Nash family estate. The driver got out of the car and opened the door for Judson.

Eula got out of the car. It was supposed to be her job to open the door for the mistress, but that was Kristina. Hmph, she wouldn't open it for her.

She walked to Judson's side, holding the snack box, and waved it in front of her.

"Here, can I go off duty now?"

You're bringing your girlfriend home, and I should go home to accompany my loved ones too.

Judson looked at her furrowed face. He hadn't seen her in a week, and he had missed her these past few days. That's why he asked her to pick him up at the airport. But what's with her expression?

She looked like she didn't want to see him at all, and he furrowed his brows slightly.

"Miss Lowe, are you thinking of changing jobs?"

As soon as she heard this, Eula quickly put on a smile and spoke politely to him.

"Judson, I think this job suits me well. Do you have anything else I can do for you? Please tell me."

But deep down, she cursed, you stingy guy. Is it just because my salary is a little higher that you're always threatening to fire me?

Seeing her with a forced smile, her face looked much more pleasing.

He lifted his chin slightly and said, "My grandfather woke up today, and it's something worth celebrating. My grandmother asked for you to stay and have dinner together."

Eula knew that Grandpa Nash had been sick for many years and was now getting better, which was indeed something worth celebrating.

So she nodded, "Oh! Okay."

Kristina had been waiting for someone to open the car door for her, so she kept waiting, but the driver didn't seem to intend to open it for her.

After a while, she had no choice but to open the car door herself and yelled at Eula as soon as she got out of the car.

"Eula, why didn't you open the car door for me?"

It was one of Eula's duties as a secretary, and she was her boss's girlfriend, so she should be taken care of.

Eula glanced at her and said with a cold expression.

"Miss Lowe, I'm sorry. Judson just needed to see me. But can't you open the door yourself? Are your hands disabled?"

Kristina almost choked when hearing these words and wanted to curse.

Eula raised an eyebrow. "Judson, I'll go find Grandma Nash."

After saying that, she carried the dessert and went into the house.

Kristina pouted and walked towards Judson with her slender waist.

"Judson, look at her. Does she look like a secretary?"

Judson glanced at her briefly. "Just do your job according to the contract, and don't worry about other things."

He then turned and strode up the stairs with long strides.
