Chapter 198 We Will Always Love You

Judson responded with a simple, "Sure!"

He had plans that evening, an engagement his family was already privy to. However, he had been absent from home for quite some time and felt the need to return and converse with his grandfather once more. He knew his grandfather would be elated.Yet, Judson himself was far from joyous. He was, in fact, quite distressed. The idea of a sham marriage had once crossed his mind, but now, even engagement seemed like a significant concession on his part.Upon hearing Judson's agreement, Eula's face lit up with delight. She hopped around excitedly, expressing her gratitude. "Thank you, Mr. Nash! You're so kind!" she exclaimed. From her bag, she produced a lollipop, which she placed before him as a token of her appreciation. "Mr. Nash, this is for you."With that, she moved towards the coat rack, donned her coat, wrapped her scarf snugly around her neck, and collected her bag. She waved at Judson, bidding him farewell, "Mr. Nash, goodbye." With a swift stride, she exited Judson's office. Judson glanced at his wristwatch, a luxurious piece that adorned his left hand. It was only six in the evening, yet it seemed Eula couldn't bear to stay a minute longer. His gaze fell upon the lollipop left on his table. It was heart-shaped and pink, a symbol with various interpretations. Judson's eyes sparkled with amusement as he picked it up and took a whiff, imagining it to be as sweet as Eula herself.Eula refrained from driving to work, fearful that Judson, who had gifted her the car, might reclaim it due to his parsimonious nature. Instead, she opted for the subway, which allowed her to bypass traffic and reach home quicker. Twenty minutes later, she found herself at a subway exit not far from her residence. The day was unusually chilly, and she tightened her scarf to shield herself from the biting wind. Suddenly, a car pulled up in front of her, and the window rolled down. Recognizing the person inside, Eula opened the car door and climbed in.The car set off towards Mystic Moonlight Alley, and a light smile graced Eula's lips. "Geoffrey, your timing couldn't be better," she said.

Geoffrey looked at her, a hint of a smile playing in his eyes. "What do you mean?" he asked.

Eula laughed, covering her mouth. "Dewitt and Rodolfo are cooking today. You're in for a treat!"

Geoffrey nodded in response.Upon reaching Eula's house, the driver assisted them in exiting the car. Geoffrey stepped out first, followed by Eula.

As they made their way towards the front door, John called out to her. "Eula, could you spare a moment?" he asked.

Eula said to Geoffrey, "You go in first. I'll be right there."Eula knew John's concern was about the money she owed. She had been preoccupied lately and hadn't been able to contact Darcy. She was eager to know if Darcy's house had been sold.

"Eula, when is your friend going to repay the money? We can't wait any longer," John asked, his expression troubled.

Eula managed a weak smile. "John, it won't be long. Her house is in a prime location and will sell quickly. She's just negotiating the price."John looked uneasy. "Eula, tell her that if she doesn't repay the money within three days, they will come to collect it in person."

Eula nodded in understanding. "Alright, we will definitely repay it in three days." John seemed relieved at her assurance and returned home.As Eula walked back, a thought crossed her mind. She had to repay the debt within three days, or the creditors would come knocking. She didn't want to frighten her three children. Upon entering the house, she was greeted by the inviting aroma of food. In the kitchen, she found two slender figures, her sons, busy cooking. Both wore aprons, their movements deft and practiced. Eula sampled a piece of braised steak, giving them a thumbs-up in approval. However, the brothers promptly reminded her, "Wash your hands first."
Eula responded with a playful stick-out of her tongue.

Rodolfo laughed, "Mommy, even if you don't have a boyfriend or a husband, you still have us. We will always love and take care of you."
