Chapter 371 She Won an Award

Just then, Shirley walked in. Seeing Eula on the phone, she told the maid to put the fruit she brought on the bar counter.

Eula noticed Shirley and gave her a quick nod.

Shirley headed into the ward while the maid stayed outside to wash the fruit.

"Myles, I'm busy. Gotta go."

Myles, sounding a bit desperate, said, "Ms. Lowe, you have to come back!"

Eula chuckled. "Yeah, I will."

She thought that his anger would eventually subside; they were both a bit on edge today, but now it seemed like no big deal to her.

Judson just needed a little sweet-talking.

When the time came, she'd calm him down, and everything would be fine.

Thinking this, she felt better.

Eula walked into the ward and saw Shirley tucking Geoffrey in. Shirley then sat by the bed, keeping a close eye on him.

Eula could see the tears in her eyes. As a mom, seeing her kid like this had to be tough.

Shirley had changed a lot lately.

She used to be so lively, beautiful, and classy.

Now, she looked worn out and had lost a lot of weight.

Eula whispered, "Shirley, Geoffrey just fell asleep. Why don't you rest on the couch for a bit?"

It was nap time, and it was clear she hadn't slept well last night, with those dark circles under her eyes.

Shirley glanced at her coldly. "I'm not tired."

Her attitude was still frosty. Eula didn't push it and sat on the couch, picking up her phone to study.

Even though she hadn't been going to classes lately, Tiffany was super nice, sending her the class materials so she could study at home.

She felt lucky to have met such a great person. With this chance, she was determined to work hard.

Just then, Tiffany called, and Eula quickly answered. "Tiffany."

She got up and walked out of the ward. Luckily, Geoffrey had taken some sleeping pills prescribed by the doctor to help him relax and not overthink.

Shirley glared at her back, annoyed that her phone wasn't on silent.

Eula took the call in the outer lounge, and the maid said, "Ms. Lowe, I've washed all the fruit."

Eula nodded slightly and then walked to the window to continue the call.

"Eula, your magnolia design sold really well and even won an award. Come with me to Country F next Saturday to receive it."

Country F fashion was famous worldwide. Winning an award from their fashion industry would give her some serious cred.

This was a fantastic opportunity, and Tiffany hoped she'd grab it.

Eula was thrilled. "Sure, I have time."

Even if she didn't, she'd make time.

"Eula, you have a real talent in this field. Keep it up!"

"Thanks, Tiffany!"

Tiffany added, "I'll introduce you to a friend of mine. You'll definitely want to meet her."

Eula smiled. Anyone Tiffany introduced would likely be from the fashion industry, which would be valuable connections for her.

After the call, Eula was in a great mood.

She went back to the ward to find Geoffrey awake, with Shirley wiping his face.

Shirley asked, "Geoffrey, how are you feeling today? Want to go for a walk?"

The spring sunshine was warm and pleasant.

Since he'd been hospitalized, he'd stayed in the ward except for medical check-ups.

Geoffrey replied softly, "I don't want to go out."

Shirley sighed and looked at Eula, signaling her to persuade him. Staying indoors all the time wasn't good for his health.

Eula got the hint. Even the doctor had said he needed to get out more, to let his eyes experience the sunlight.
