Chapter 63 Starting a Fight
Eula didn't want to entertain her words. Seeing Kristina's smug expression, thinking that she would be upset, Eula didn't let Kristina have her way and changed the topic.
Eula knew that in the Lowe family, she was the privileged mistress. Those nails probably cost tens of thousands of dollars, and the diamonds on them were real.
She coldly said, "They're quite beautiful!" After speaking, she turned and returned to her own desk, adding in a remark, "I was talking about the nails." She didn't mention the person at all, in front of her, Kristina could only be an ugly duckling. Kristina had known this since she was young.
Her mother wasn't ugly, and her father was handsome, but she inherited all of their flaws - small eyes, a round face, and a flat nose. Thinking about it made her angry, but luckily, in these past few years, she secretly made some adjustments. She had her nose raised and her eyes done, at least making her a beauty among the crowd. But standing next to Eula, she instantly lost. Thinking about this made her even angrier.
It would be better if that girl were dead, but unfortunately, she didn't manage to die.
She clenched her hands into fists, glaring coldly at Eula.
"Even if I'm not as pretty as you, my life is better than yours. I live as Miss Lowe, with The Lowe family. And you? Hmph! You grew up without a mother, and your father doesn't like you. You've been struggling since childhood, taking care of three children. It must be so hard for you."
Eula's face changed slightly upon hearing these words.
"If I'm not doing well, who should I thank? Kristina, there will be consequences in this world. You and your mother will face them sooner or later."
The two of them started arguing back and forth. Seeing that Eula was becoming more eloquent, Kristina crossed her arms.
"Eula, I want some coffee. Go pour me a cup."
Eula was busy organizing Judson's recent schedule and studying for her adult college entrance exam. Now that her job was stable, she wanted to improve herself.
"Judson said I'm his personal secretary, only serving him alone."
He had never actually said such a thing, but he wasn't here, so she could say whatever she wanted.
Kristina was infuriated. She stood up and walked over, her eyes sharp.
She swept everything off Eula's desk and started cursing like a madwoman.
"Eula, you're just his secretary, an employee. Don't think that causing a scene in the news once makes you Mrs. Nash for real."
When Eula saw her cup shatter, the one she and her three children had made together, it couldn't just be overlooked.
Eula stood up from her chair and pushed her.
"Kristina, you crazy woman."
She bent down to pick up the broken pieces, on which their photo as a family of four was shattered. That damn girl, still just as despicable.
Incensed by the push, Kristina couldn't stand it. She couldn't bear seeing Eula being with Judson every day, and she wanted to get rid of her.
She grabbed a handful of Eula's hair forcefully. But Eula wasn't weak.
Geoffrey had found her a taekwondo instructor in the past, teaching her self-defense. Now she was somewhat of a badass.
By pulling back, she managed to throw Kristina to the ground.
Kristina never expected Eula to know these moves, and she whimpered in pain.
"Ah... She hit me! Eula hit me!"
She screamed out loud and cried, her voice truly pitiful.
As she wiped away her tears, a sinister smile flickered in her eyes.
Eula, let's see if you can still stay in this company. Judson will definitely fire you now.
