Chapter 487 Heartbreak
Eula avoided his gaze, not daring to meet his eyes.
David suddenly called out, "Geoffrey, come up here for a moment."
Hearing this, Eula's heart skipped a beat. She had originally thought that even if Judson didn't come, she would find a way to call off the engagement after David announced her marriage to Geoffrey.
But now, what should she do?
Geoffrey, supported by Sierra, walked up to the stage and stood straight beside Eula.
David pointed at him, "Everyone knows him, right? Geoffrey will be engaged to Eula soon. This is one of today's happy announcements. Now that I've shared all the good news, the banquet officially begins. I hope everyone has a great time, enjoys the food, and drinks to their heart's content!"
After speaking, a servant came to take the microphone from him.
David looked at Geoffrey, "Geoffrey, I've publicly entrusted Eula to you. Take good care of her."
He placed Eula's hand in Geoffrey's, and Geoffrey smiled slightly. "Mr. Lowe, I will. I will love her and protect her for life."
Eula stood there in a daze, her eyes fixed on Judson. She wished she had a superpower to stand here while also being by his side.
To explain to him, to tell him that this was all a misunderstanding.
She didn't want this; she only wanted to marry him, and only him in this lifetime.
Judson stood out in the crowd, exceptionally eye-catching.
His expression was cold, so cold that the surrounding air seemed to freeze. Myles couldn't help but shiver.
'Ms. Lowe, how could she be engaged to Mr. Hopkins? What about Mr. Nash?' Thinking of this, he glanced at Judson beside him, who was practically seething with anger, like a volcano about to erupt.
He looked at his head, realizing Judson still had a bullet in his brain for Eula.
How could she be so heartless, abandoning Judson? How could she do this?
Suddenly, his eyes widened. And then he realized that Eula didn't even know about the bullet still in Judson's head.
Their days had just started to get better, and now Eula had found someone new. It seemed that the Nash Group would be in chaos again in the coming days.
At this moment, Kristina walked towards them, wearing a festive red gown with a long train, looking extremely luxurious.
She first approached Robert, "Mr. Nash, you're here."
Seeing her, Robert smiled. "Kristina, we definitely had to come to your family's banquet. But I never heard you had a sister. I didn't expect it to be her."
Kristina smiled, "She's my dad's ex-wife's daughter. She left home to have a baby. Now she's back, and the child's father is back too. My grandpa wants to clear up the past."
Although she didn't say it explicitly, Robert knew about Eula's out-of-wedlock child.
He nodded, "Yes, it's a good thing. At least it clears her name. A man should step up and take responsibility."
Then he glanced at Judson, "Judson, today is Kristina's family banquet. As her boyfriend, you should act like a future son-in-law."
Judson wasn't listening to him at all; his eyes were fixed on the stage, staring at that sea-blue figure.
She looked stunning today, but her beautiful smile pierced his heart.
She was the heiress of the Lowe family, but she had never told him.
'Eula, which of your words are true and which are false?' Judson thought.
He felt as if the heart he had given her had been shattered into pieces.
His expression grew colder, and the chill around him intensified.
Kristina had originally intended to greet him, but seeing his demeanor, she was too scared to approach.
