Chapter 366 Kristina Wanted to Cure Robert
Jessica and Kristina didn't really know each other well, and besides, Jessica liked Eula. Chatting with Kristina felt almost wrong.
She got up. "I'm heading upstairs to grab something. Kristina, you hang out with Robert."
Kristina nodded. "Sure thing, Mrs. Nash. I'll take good care of Mr. Nash."
Kristina was willing to do anything to get in good with the Nash family.
When Robert saw Kristina, his face darkened, and he looked annoyed.
The servants and nurses nearby noticed but kept quiet, just watching.
Eula brought over some tea. "Mr. Nash, want some tea? I can help you drink it."
Robert turned away, clearly not interested, which bummed her out. Fernando said Robert liked her, but she couldn't see it.
Every time she visited, Robert looked serious, like he didn't like her.
Maybe she was just imagining things. Robert used to be a big deal, so he probably didn't show his feelings like regular folks.
Thinking this made her feel better.
She smiled at Robert. "Mr. Nash, how about I come by every day to keep you company?"
'If he likes me so much, being around him every day will make him like me more. Then he'll push Judson to marry me, and I can join the Nash family. Once I'm Mrs. Kristina Nash, I can put Eula in her place.' Just thinking about it made her super happy.
Her phone beeped. Her fingers, decked out with diamonds and long, pretty nails, looked amazing.
But to Robert, 'What can she do with nails that long? Even going to the bathroom must be a hassle!'
In Robert's eyes, a girl's hands should be neat and clean.
Kristina saw it was a message from a friend.
Lily Brown: [Kristina, my dad can treat the illness you mentioned. Bring him over to see my dad.]
Kristina quickly replied: [Really? He can't move his legs, his hands aren't agile, and he has trouble speaking, but his mind is clear.]
Lily: [My dad's a doctor, and this is his specialty. He's treated lots of people with these symptoms.]
Kristina's eyes lit up. She turned to Robert, "Mr. Nash, I have a friend's dad who can treat your illness. How about coming with me?"
Robert's eyes lit up too. He was skeptical but wanted to get better.
Kristina noticed Robert's hope and asked Lily for the address. "Mr. Nash, let's go right now!"
She told the nearby servants, "I'm taking Mr. Nash to see a doctor. You all come with us."
She couldn't take Robert alone; if anything happened, she couldn't handle it.
Just then, Jessica came out and asked, "Where are you taking Robert?"
Kristina, excited, walked over to Jessica and showed her the phone. "Mrs. Nash, my friend's dad is a doctor. Their family has been doctors for five generations. She said her dad can cure Mr. Nash."
Jessica didn't buy it and shook her head. "Forget it, you don't need to worry about Robert."
She said coldly, "Take Robert back to his room."
Kristina was anxious, but the servants and nurses pushed Robert back inside.
"Mrs. Nash, why don't you come with us and see? If he can really be cured, wouldn't that be a good thing?"
Jessica never relied on others all these years. If Robert could really be cured, why hadn't Judson gone to find this person? She only trusted Judson now, not anyone else. She wanted Judson to investigate the doctor thoroughly; she would never let Robert take any more risks.
