Chapter 485 Eula Is Too Beautiful
At six in the evening, guests began to arrive one after another. The Lowe family became unusually lively, with men and women in elegant attire filling the living room and the yard.
In the first guest room on the second floor, Eula had been fussed over by the makeup artist for three hours. She was exhausted, but since it was David's thoughtful arrangement, she couldn't refuse.
She could only let them do their work while she rested with her eyes closed.
Next, the stylist handed her a gown, a sea-blue long-slit dress with a shiny fabric. After changing into the dress, she stood in front of the full-length mirror.
Eula in the mirror looked stunning. Her graceful figure, combined with the long slit of the dress, made her already long and beautiful legs look even more perfect.
Isabella had been waiting for her, and out of boredom, she was playing a game on her phone.
Hearing the exclamations of the others, she looked up, immediately exited the game, and stood up abruptly.
"Eula, you look so beautiful!" She walked over and touched Eula's arm.
Her eyes were full of amazement. "Eula, when will I ever look like you?"
Eula focused on her reflection in the mirror, realizing she did look more glamorous than usual.
She usually only wore a bit of lipstick, but now with a full makeup look, she appeared even more dazzling.
The makeup artist and stylist had completed their tasks. After packing up their things, they prepared to leave.
Kristina and Melissa walked in, and when they saw Eula, a hint of darkness appeared in their eyes. Eula had suddenly become stunningly beautiful.
Melissa's face darkened slightly. "You should do Kristina's makeup too."
After all, she was also a main character today, especially since Judson would be coming later. Kristina had told Melissa that Eula had captivated Judson. If he saw Eula looking this beautiful, he would definitely want Kristina even less.
Her initial confidence wavered instantly.
She approached the makeup artist and whispered into her ear while holding her phone. "Make Kristina look more beautiful than Eula, and I'll send you some money."
Her eyes gleamed cunningly like a fox.
The makeup artist, a girl wearing a mask, glanced at Kristina and felt a bit troubled.
After all, Kristina was quite plain-looking, and surpassing Eula would be nearly impossible without a complete makeover.
But she wasn't socially inept, so she nodded slightly at Melissa. "Thank you, Mrs. Lowe. I'll make sure to do Miss Kristina Lowe's makeup well."
With that, she signaled to her assistants, and they began setting up the makeup station again.
Melissa transferred $800 to the makeup artist, who accepted it as a tip.
Kristina looked at Eula with cold eyes, filled with jealousy.
Why, as descendants of the Lowe family, could Eula be so beautiful? Life was unfair, completely unfair.
As she passed by Eula, she deliberately bumped her shoulder hard.
She intended to bully her, but ended up hurting herself. Both of them glared at each other coldly.
Eula's eyes held a hint of coldness, her aura strong. Kristina's face twisted in pain, and she said coldly, "Eula, you hurt me. Apologize."
Eula sneered, "Kristina, I was standing here without moving. Who bumped into whom? Everyone here isn't stupid."
Everyone looked at her, and it was indeed as Eula had said.
Kristina didn't gain any advantage and had no grounds to demand an apology.
She pursed her lips slightly, sat down at the makeup station, and furrowed her brows, thinking to herself, 'Eula, enjoy your moment of glory. Let's see how smug you are when Judson arrives.'
