Chapter 333 Can't Wait Anymore

Kristina's face went all stormy when she heard Eula's voice. "Eula, seriously? Why you?"

Just thinking about it made her skin crawl. Last night, she wanted to crash at the Nash family's place, but Judson was all like, "Nope, you gotta go."

She couldn't push it, so she had to bounce.

And now, first thing in the morning, Eula's already hanging with Judson?

'Did they hook up last night?' The thought made her blood boil, and she spat out through clenched teeth, "Eula, you think you can snag a spot in the Nash family? Keep dreaming. Let's see who ends up with Judson."

With that, she slammed the phone down. Eula glanced at her phone; the call was already dead.

She put the phone back on the table. "Judson, you cool with that?"

Judson grinned. "As long as you're happy!"

Kristina was a real pain. If he'd known she was this much trouble, he wouldn't have teamed up with her.

Now she was a bit of a problem to shake off, but with Eula around, it was gonna be a lot easier.

Over at the Lowe family’s dining room, everyone was waiting on Kristina. Tomorrow, the Lowe family was throwing a shindig, and they wanted her to get Judson over for dinner.

This was all Melissa's idea. Since Kristina spent Christmas dinner at the Nash family, if Judson came to their place, it would lock down their relationship.

Kristina was making the call in the living room. They wanted her to do it at the dining table on speaker so they could all eavesdrop.

But she wasn't having it. She knew her deal with Judson too well.

Judson didn't give a damn about her; they were just business partners with that stupid agreement.

If it weren't for Robert, she wouldn't have anything to do with Judson, ever.

She said she was worried Judson would feel awkward and insisted on making the call in the living room.

She plopped on the sofa, feeling super bummed. Good thing she stepped out; otherwise, this call would have set off endless gossip among her relatives. The last time the engagement got called off, the looks and whispers were brutal.

So, she wasn't gonna let herself get into that mess again.

She clutched her phone and sighed. 'Getting Judson to come over tomorrow is gonna be tough.'

But she planned to hit up Robert for help.

But Robert couldn't talk, and his gestures were hard to read. Even if Judson got it, he wouldn't agree to come.

Right now, he was all about Eula and would only listen to her.

She irritably scratched her head.

Christmas was supposed to be fun, but this year, it was driving her nuts.

At that moment, she thought of her uncle Mario and dialed his number.

It took a while for him to pick up, "Kristina, what do you need?"

It was super noisy on his end, like he was at a gambling table, and she heard he was losing.

"Uncle, I can give you $160,000 more. Can you handle Eula today?"

Mario had just left the casino. "Can't you let me have a peaceful Christmas?"

"Uncle, with her around, I can't have a good Christmas. If you think it's bad to do it yourself during Christmas, I'll give you $320,000. You keep half and hire a hitman with the other half."

This was the easiest way, and she trusted a hitman's skills more than her sketchy uncle.

Mario had already blown the $160,000, and he was broke. He gritted his teeth. "Fine, transfer the money, and I know a guy."

That guy, a hitman, would only cost $40,000, leaving him with $120,000.

Kristina heard this and said, "Uncle, don't screw me over."

"I gotta keep my word. I won't mess with you. If you don't trust me, find someone else."

Kristina quickly transferred the money to him and added a message.

Kristina: [Uncle, I'm waiting for your good news.]
