Chapter 234 Threw Up
Eula supported her knees with both hands, resembling an obedient elementary school student.
Without looking at her eyes and face, it was impossible to tell that she was drunk.
Geoffrey heard Eula's voice and knocked on the car window. "Mr. Nash, I'm here to pick up Eula; please open the door."
Judson was displeased; he had locked the central control so that Geoffrey couldn't open the door.
Eula turned her head and glanced. "Geoffrey, I'm here; why aren't you coming to help me?"
There was a hint of annoyance in Eula's voice. Whenever she drank too much before, Geoffrey would help her and take her home.
Therefore, whenever Eula heard this voice, she felt completely safe.
Judson coldly said, "Drive."
Alan originally wanted to get out of the car to resolve the situation, but seeing Judson's demeanor, he stayed put.
Now that Judson said to leave, Alan dared not disobey and had to turn the car around and drive away from the spot.
After the car drove off, Eula's phone started ringing. She emptied her bag, picked up her phone, and answered, "Hello?"
"Eula, tell Judson to stop the car." Geoffrey's voice was low and cold, with a hint of chill. He added, "Dewitt and Rodolfo asked me to pick you up; they are both waiting for you at home."
Upon hearing that her son was waiting for her, Eula became anxious. "Stop the car!"
Alan hit the brakes, the car stopped, and then Eula pushed open the door.
Geoffrey approached and helped her out of the car. "Did Judson bully you?"
Eula shook her head, then waved to Judson in the car. "Mr. Nash, goodbye!"
Judson frowned as he watched Eula walk away, feeling very displeased. ‘Since you know it is me, why do you leave with Geoffrey?’
His face darkened, and although Alan wanted to ask whether to leave or not, he didn't dare and just stayed in place.
"Drive." Judson barked coldly, making Alan tense, and he pressed the gas pedal to the floor.
"Follow Geoffrey's car," added Judson.
Alan was truly at a loss, thinking Judson was angry and wanted to go home. But to his surprise, Judson told him to follow Geoffrey's car, so he quickly turned around and hurried after them.
In Geoffrey's car, Eula reclined in her seat, feeling a bit weary yet unable to fall asleep. "Geoffrey, how much farther until we arrive home?"
Geoffrey turned to look at Eula, a faint tinge of worry in his eyes. If he hadn't intervened in time, Judson might have taken Eula away.
He dared not contemplate what might happen tonight. "Judson is not a good man. Keep your distance from him. Perhaps consider working at the Hopkins Group; the remuneration there exceeds what Judson provides."
If Eula had harbored any intention of taking advantage of him, she would have long since joined the ranks of the Hopkins Group.
However, Eula had never considered joining the Hopkins Group. She was already deeply grateful for Geoffrey's past benevolence toward her and her kids.
She would never allow discord to arise between Geoffrey and his mother, even if it meant enduring hardship. She would keep her distance from Geoffrey and the Hopkins Group.
As the car came to a stop, Eula felt a tumultuous churn in her stomach. Geoffrey reached out, enfolding her in his arms, ready to assist her out of the car, but she couldn't hold it in.
Vomiting directly onto Geoffrey's chest, Eula expelled a considerable amount but felt comfortable afterward.
Geoffrey's expression darkened entirely.
The driver ahead was also taken aback. "Mr. Hopkins..."
Geoffrey raised a hand, signaling for him to remain silent.
Handing tissue to Eula, Geoffrey watched as she wiped her mouth, then she said to him, "Geoffrey, I'm sorry! I couldn't help it just now. In the future, if I drink too much, remember not to stay too close to me."
She had indeed imbibed excessively tonight, struggling to stay lucid. That's why she vomited.
Now, with the release, her entire body felt at ease.
It seemed the overlapping figures before her eyes had dispersed. She glanced at Geoffrey's expensive shirt and had to look away; one more glance would make her vomit again.
