Chapter 303 Be with him Openly
After saying goodbye to Jessica and Sandra, Eula made her way to the office.
As she walked past the secretary's office, she caught snippets of their gossip.
"Did you see that? That was Sandra from the Pitts family. Her grandma and Mr. Nash's grandma are tight. Word is, Sandra's gonna be Judson's future wife."
"She looks young, but she's pretty cute. She's a good match for Mr. Nash."
"What about Eula? Is Mr. Nash serious about her?"
The group laughed, thinking Eula was just using her looks to get Judson's temporary attention.
Eula couldn't compare to Kristina, let alone Sandra from the Pitts family.
Eula didn't care. She used to think the same way, but Judson had promised to be with her for life, and she wanted to believe him.
Eula strutted past them, the click of her high heels making the women in the cubicles jump and quickly get back to work, too scared to gossip anymore.
When Judson got back to the office, it was already 6:30 PM.
Eula was on a video call with the three kids. Angie's little head was front and center, while Dewitt and Rodolfo only showed half of their handsome faces.
"Mommy, are you working late again?"
Angie's small voice came through clearly, and Judson knew Eula was fibbing to the kids about working late so she could go on a date with him.
Eula's big eyes darted around, glancing at Judson sitting at the desk. He looked tired, with a hint of weariness between his brows.
Judson had been swamped all day, attending four or five meetings of various sizes.
She felt a bit sorry for Judson, thinking he was too busy.
"Yeah, Mommy has to work late tonight. Be good and listen to Mary. Angie, your piano teacher will be home soon, so have a good lesson."
Dewitt said calmly, "Don't work too hard!"
Rodolfo added, "You can totally support us now."
This was a reminder to Eula that she didn't need to work so hard; the two of them could earn money, and she had assets now.
Eula smiled, "Got it, bye-bye!"
She ended the video call, her face beaming with a smile. The day's fatigue vanished upon seeing the three kids' beautiful faces.
Eula rested her chin on her hand, thinking that these three kids were the best gift heaven had given her.
She felt very happy at that moment, feeling that everything was perfect.
Judson saw her lost in thought, looking sweet and warm.
He said softly, "Eula, come here, let me hold you."
Eula snapped out of it and walked to his side. Judson pulled her onto his lap and hugged her.
She wrapped her arms around his neck, inhaling his faint, cool scent, feeling incredibly at ease.
And as Judson held her, he felt all his fatigue disappear, feeling rejuvenated.
After holding her for a while, Eula patted his head.
"I'm starving."
It was almost seven o'clock; of course, she was hungry. She could eat a horse!
Judson chuckled softly, "Alright, let's go eat first."
They put on their coats, turning to walk towards the door.
As Judson caught up, he naturally took her hand.
Eula glanced down, wanting to pull her hand back. After all, this was the office, and some people might still be around. If others saw, she would become the center of gossip again.
But Judson didn't let go, "I'll never let you go. Stay by my side."
In fact, from the day he had Eula move into his office to work, everyone in the company should have known his feelings for her.
So Eula didn't need to be afraid; she could openly be with him.
