Chapter 350 Avenge Mario
Mario's head slumped on the table, eyes wide open. Didn't Judson say if he told the truth, he'd be fine?
But he did tell the truth, so why did his chest feel like it was on fire, and why couldn't he catch a breath?
Judson just shrugged, opened the door, and bounced.
Later, the cops rolled in and found Mario had a heart attack. They tried to rush him to the hospital, but it was game over. He was already gone.
Eula took her three kids to the mall and hit up KFC first, their all-time fave. She usually didn't let them have it.
But she hadn't hung out with them in forever, so she wanted to treat them.
In the restaurant, Angie was tearing into a chicken wing, her little face all greasy, and Eula frowned.
She glanced at her two sons, who were eating all proper and neat.
Then she looked at Angie, who had food smeared everywhere. She couldn't help but think, 'Who does she take after?'
Dewitt grabbed a napkin and wiped Angie's mouth. She giggled at him. "Thanks, Dewitt."
Dewitt pushed some more food her way. "Here, you like this too."
Her boys only went for burgers, but Angie was all about trying everything. She was a total foodie.
After chowing down, they went to buy toys for the kids.
Angie picked out a pretty Barbie doll, while Dewitt and Rodolfo grabbed LEGO sets. They didn't care about other toys.
But building LEGO sets was their jam.
After snagging the toys, the four of them left the toy store and planned to get a dress for Angie.
When they passed by the DK store, Eula walked in. This brand was her mentor Tiffany's creation. The kids sat nearby and played while she browsed.
Over the years, she and her kids had been each other's rock. Every shopping trip, the kids tagged along. They were used to entertaining themselves, giving her time to shop.
Eula noticed the spring collection was out, and the Magnolia series was all her design.
She missed the DK Spring Fashion Show, but she caught it on TV. It was a hit.
Seeing her designs in the store now, she felt pretty good.
She reached out to touch one of the dresses. It had a single magnolia flower at the hem, elegant and classy.
This was her favorite design, and she smiled with squinty eyes.
Suddenly, a voice snapped her out of it. "Mom, what do you think of this one?"
Kristina grabbed the dress and held it up to herself. Then she turned to Eula, her face darkening. "Eula."
Eula's smile froze. Running into Melissa and Kristina when she was in such a good mood? Total buzzkill.
Melissa's anger flared as she looked at her, the thought of Mario's potential imprisonment weighing heavily on her mind.
And Judson almost died because of her, making Kristina lose her appetite and sleep lately.
Kristina wanted to visit him in the hospital, but the bodyguards always chased her away.
Today, she finally heard he was discharged, so she thought of buying a nice outfit to wear when she visited Judson.
Running into them was just bad luck.
Melissa crossed her arms and glared. "Manager, manager, get over here."
A woman in a uniform hustled over, looking to be in her thirties. She nodded slightly. "Mrs. Lowe, hi, I'm the store manager, Madison Smith. How can I help you?"
Melissa pointed at Eula. "She can't afford the clothes here. Kick her out."
Thinking about Mario possibly going to jail made her furious. She wanted to humiliate Eula and even wanted to hit her, but she knew Eula could throw down, so she didn't dare. She could only boss others around to do it.
