Chapter 56 Too Strange

Upon hearing this, Eula panicked. Angie's health was very poor, and a fever was a serious matter.

"I haven't paid enough attention and now she is sick." she responded. "Okay, I'll come right away."

After hanging up the phone, she urgently spoke to the driver. "Tom, please go straight to the children's hospital, and hurry."

Tom glanced at the boss through the rearview mirror, waiting for his instructions. Judson noticed her anxious expression and said, "Go to the pediatric hospital, quickly."

Upon hearing the boss's order, the driver promptly changed the route. Judson asked her, "What happened? Who's sick?"

Certainly, one of the three children must be ill. Last time at the hospital, he saw how distressed she was when she took Angie there. It must be very difficult for a woman, alone, to take care of three children.

Tears welled up in Eula's eyes as she kept staring ahead, wishing to fly to the hospital. "It's Angie. She has a fever. Last time, she had convulsions during her fever. And now, I'm not there. I hope she'll be alright."

She clasped her hands tightly, longing to be by her daughter's side. Judson took out his phone and dialed a number. "Mr. Brown, my relative's child is at your hospital. Could you please take special care of her? Her name is Angie Lowe. Yes, thank you!"

After hanging up the phone, he stretched out his long arm and embraced her. "Don't worry, the hospital will do everything they can to treat her."

Due to her excessive worry, Eula didn't hear him making the call. Her eyes filled with anxiety, and she couldn't focus on anything except getting to the hospital quickly. Half an hour later, they arrived at the children's hospital.

Once Eula got out of the car, she rushed inside. Judson sighed and gently rubbed his forehead. It seemed that as soon as she heard that one of her children were sick, she became frantic. He hurried after her, pulling her into his embrace to calm her down.

"Judson, you should go home. The hospital is chaotic, and there's a lot of waiting, examinations, and injections. It's really troublesome. We can take a taxi home later."

She thought he intended to wait to drive them home when they finished. Judson held her tightly, preventing her from running around again. What had this girl experienced? Isn't getting sick a normal thing? Did she really need to worry and be so anxious?

"Eula, do you know where they are? Follow me."

He didn't want her to wander around aimlessly. Although it was already eleven o'clock at night, the children's hospital was bustling. The weather had suddenly turned cold, leading to many children falling ill.

Registration had long queues, and so did the pharmacy. Amidst the cries of children and the voices of adults, it was truly chaotic. Judson led her to the doctor's exclusive elevator and arrived at the 13th floor of the inpatient department, entering a VIP ward.

As soon as they entered, they saw Angie receiving an IV drip. Eula rushed out of his embrace and anxiously asked, "How is Angie? Did she have convulsions this time? Will the fever damage her brain?"

The two boys were sitting on the couch, and upon seeing her approach, they went to touch Angie's head.

Dewitt said, "Mommy, don't worry, Angie just has the flu. A few days of injections and she'll be fine."

Rodolfo said to the man entering, "Uncle, thank you!"

If it weren't for him, they would still be waiting in line, and Angie wouldn't have received treatment so quickly.

Mary looked confused as she spoke to Eula about tonight's events.

"Eula, something strange happened tonight. While we were waiting in line, they called Angie Lowe's name over the loudspeaker, so we told the nurse that she was Angie Lowe, and she got admitted here."
