Chapter 231 Bullied
The agreed place was not far from the hospital; it was a restaurant.
Eula finished class after four o'clock. By the time she arrived at the agreed place, it was almost six o'clock, just in time for dinner.
Darcy was closer to the restaurant, so she got there first.
When Eula entered the private room, she saw Darcy drinking. As she sat down next to Darcy, she pulled her. "Drink less."
When Darcy saw Eula, she smiled, and a hint of vitality finally appeared on her beautiful face. "Eula, I ask them to serve the dishes, and you accompany me for a few more drinks."
Eula frowned. "What's wrong?"
Eula didn't have a good alcohol tolerance, and Darcy wasn't a drinker either. Darcy used to sell alcohol in the bar, so she should only feel disgust towards such things.
"I'm happy, Estelle will have surgery next Friday." As Darcy said this, she hugged Eula. "I've been waiting for this day. There is hope for Estelle and me."
After spending two years in the hospital, Darcy had really lost everything.
Eula's eyes lit up slightly. "Did you find a bone marrow donor? That's great. We should celebrate."
Eula gently tapped Darcy's shoulder and remarked, "Today, I shall indulge in a few drinks with you."
Eula poured herself a glass when the dishes arrived, then poured one for Darcy, saying, "Darcy, you and Estelle will be better in the future."
As long as they leaft the hospital, everything would get better.
Thinking back over the past two years, Darcy had almost lived in the hospital, taking care of Estelle during the day and working in the bar at night; it was really tough.
Darcy smiled and clinked glasses with Eula. We will both get better."
Darcy had already had a few drinks before Eula arrived, so they drank and ate together. Darcy was a bit drunk, so she mentioned the most troubling thing recently. "Do you know Elbert?"
Eula suddenly found the alcohol quite enjoyable; it seemed to get sweeter the more she drank. Holding her glass, she nodded vigorously at Darcy. "I know him! He's Judson's good friend."
Darcy took a bite of bread and chewed while saying with a hint of resentment, "He's quite playful when we're intimate, always suggesting I try poses that can make me blush."
She covered her face. "Eula, even though I've been married and have children, I have no experience in this area at all."
Eula's eyes widened. "Did Elbert bully you?"
It was the only thing Eula could understand; she didn't quite grasp the posing part.
Darcy nodded at Eula. "Yes, Elbert bullied me, he's really naughty."
Darcy had been thoroughly tormented by Elbert for the past half-month, with him insisting on trying out all sorts of positions in bed every night.
There were only a few more days left; once Estelle's surgery was done, she would have no more ties to Elbert. Thinking about this, Darcy let out a sigh of relief, feeling like she had finally gotten through it.
When Eula heard about Elbert bullying Darcy, she couldn't help but call Elbert immediately.
"Hello?" Elbert's calm and slightly provocative voice came through the phone.
"Elbert, you jerk, why are you bullying Darcy? Come out, let's fight one on one," said Eula.
Darcy heard this and laughed, then drank another glass and poked Eula's head. "Silly, Elbert is tough in a fight! You definitely can't beat him; you'll be at a loss."
At this point, Eula couldn't care less and shouted into the phone again, "Elbert, come to the restaurant near the hospital. I'll be waiting for you here. If you don't come, I'll come to your place."
After hanging up the phone, Eula cursed a few more times, "Stupid man, dare to bully Darcy; I'll beat you to death."
Elbert was confused by the scolding, but he seemed to realize that Eula and Darcy had drunk too much.
