Chapter 424 Judson Completely Fell for Eula

Darcy was stunned for a moment. Why was Judson speaking?

Elbert noticed Darcy's silence and spoke up. "Darcy, did you hear that? Judson is going to pick her up."

Darcy finally reacted. They were indeed together. Why didn't Elbert listen to her?

Feeling angry, Darcy replied, "Hmph, she doesn't need Mr. Nash to pick her up."

The phone was hung up, emitting a busy tone.

Elbert looked at Judson on the hospital bed. His face was very pale, especially his lips, which had no color at all.

For a man like him to be in such pain, it showed that the headache was unbearable.

Even in this state, he was still thinking about Eula. It was clear that Judson had completely fallen for Eula.

"Judson, it's okay if Darcy takes her back. Darcy is very reliable, don't worry!" Elbert comforted.

Judson, however, sat up and told the nurse. "Give me some more painkillers, double the dose."

The nurse was stunned. "Mr. Nash, you can't take that many painkillers."

Judson's face was very grim. His already chiseled features became even more stern, scaring the nurse into silence.

She only kindly reminded him not to take more.

"Hurry up, I have urgent matters."

Thinking about Eula being hurt, he couldn't stay calm for a moment. If it weren't for the need to stay alive, he wouldn't have come to the hospital at all and would have gone straight to find her.

Judson was too stubborn. Elbert knew no one could stop him.

So he gestured to the nurse, "Go get the medicine from your director."

The nurse nodded slightly and left the ward.

Elbert sat on the sofa, looking at Judson leaning against the headboard. He sighed. "You're in this state, and Eula is still arguing with you. Isn't she too willful?"

They all knew Eula was willful and not easy to deal with.

Didn't be fooled by her soft and cute appearance; she was actually several times tougher than a rock when she wanted to be.

Judson replied calmly, "She doesn't know I haven't had the bullet removed."

Elbert understood. If it were him, he wouldn't let Darcy know either. Men, after all, have their pride.

They didn't want their women to worry, and they certainly didn't want them to see their injured side.

Hugo returned to the ward with the X-rays, and the nurse gave him the painkillers.

Judson swallowed the pills and took a sip of water.

The nurse left, and Hugo sighed. "Judson, the bullet has shifted a bit. Have you been too agitated lately? Starting tomorrow, no strenuous activities and no getting agitated."

Judson glanced at him coldly, "Can you do the surgery or not? If not, hurry up and find me a doctor."

He couldn't wait any longer. If he couldn't move or get agitated, did he have to become a puppet?

Hugo met his gaze, "I'll go find my senior tomorrow. He's more experienced in this area. I'll discuss the surgical plan with him as soon as possible."

Elbert was also anxious, "Hugo, you need to hurry! This concerns Judson's life."

Hugo knew the weight on his shoulders and nodded solemnly. "I understand."

Judson got up, got out of bed, put on his shoes, and checked the time.

It was already 10:30 PM, very late. He had to go pick up Eula.

He started to leave, and Hugo asked. "Judson, stay the night. We can monitor you."

Elbert patted his shoulder, "Eula is hurt. He can't stay."

Even if he stayed, his heart wouldn't be here.

Hugo frowned. "Why is it always Eula?"

It seemed that ever since Judson got together with Eula, he had changed. The once aloof and domineering man who didn't care about anyone.

Now, he was constantly being driven mad by Eula and had ended up in this state.
