Chapter 377 Missing Him
Geoffrey's eyes lit up, and a small grin spread across his face. "Mom, are you saying you're not against me and Eula anymore?"
This was amazing news. He'd been fighting for this for years, but Shirley had always been stubborn, pushing him to go on blind dates.
Now she was finally coming around. Maybe losing his sight had softened her heart.
Seeing his joy, Shirley's tone turned icy. "Don't get too excited. I need to test her first. If she truly takes good care of you and sticks by your side no matter what, then she can join the Hopkins family. Otherwise, she shouldn't even think about it."
It was because Geoffrey was blind and needed someone to care for him that she relented.
Though this made Geoffrey a bit unhappy, he believed Eula was the best woman in the world, and he felt unworthy of her.
But Shirley's low opinion of Eula made his heart ache.
"Mom, you should go back! With Eula here, I'll be fine."
Trying to send her away again, Shirley got a bit angry. "You brat, now that you have a woman, you don't need your mom anymore."
"I'm just worried you'll get tired. You haven't had a proper rest lately. Now that you can leave me to Eula, you can finally rest and not worry anymore."
Seeing that he was indeed much better than before, at least willing to talk and so considerate, it seemed her sunny son was back. She let out a long sigh of relief. "Alright! I'll come back tomorrow."
Shirley glanced at the IV drip, picked up her bag, and reluctantly said, "Geoffrey, you must cooperate with the doctors and get well. I hope you'll recover."
Geoffrey responded, "Yeah, I will."
When Eula returned with the milk, Shirley had already left. She put the milk on the cabinet and asked, "Do you want to drink the milk now?"
Geoffrey smiled. "No, but I need to go to the restroom."
Hearing this, Eula's face suddenly turned red. She walked to the bedside, pulled back the covers, and held up the IV drip. "Be careful, just keep walking forward."
She held the IV drip in one hand and led him with the other, guiding him step by step to the restroom.
After hanging the IV drip, Geoffrey said, "Help me take off my pants; my hands aren't very convenient."
Hearing this, she thought of Judson. When Judson was in the hospital, he had asked her to do the same.
And she had seen his body.
That scene, she dared not think about it again. The more she thought about it, the more she couldn't extricate herself.
And Judson had pressed her against the wall and kissed her for a long time. These memories still felt sweet to her now.
"Eula, I'm teasing you. You can wait outside." Seeing her stunned look, she must have been scared. Geoffrey couldn't bring himself to bully her.
Hearing this, Eula quickly walked out the door. 'Thankfully, he is just joking.'
If it were real, she really couldn't do it.
She stood at the door, let out a breath, and lowered her head.
At this moment, she really missed Judson, liked his mischievous smile when he teased her, and liked his handsome face even more.
She really seemed to be falling for him.
But Judson never understood her and was still giving her the cold shoulder.
She took out her phone and sent him a message.
Eula: [Judson, can you stop being mad? I miss you, really miss you!]
The old Eula would never be this direct, but now she didn't held back her emotions. She just missed him and wanted to tell him.
Judson was still in the car, his headache had eased. He opened her message.
Suddenly, the corners of his lips lifted slightly, and his long fingers moved across the screen.
Judson: [I want to see you tonight.]
