Chapter 57 Being a Mom is Not Easy.

"And several doctors examined Angie. They were very kind and didn't make us run around for the check-up forms. Angie had her examination right here. It saved us a lot of trouble."

Eula touched Angie's head. Although it felt slightly warm, it wasn't alarming.

After hearing Mary's explanation, she understood what had happened.

How could an ordinary person reserve such a ward? Besides, she didn't have that much money, and she couldn't bear to let Angie stay in such a nice room.

She told Mary, "Mary, you take Dewitt and Rodolfo home. It's late, and they need to rest."

Then she turned to see her two sons talking to Judson and even giving him high-fives.

Although he had visited their home once before, the children had treated him poorly and even got him drunk. Today, their attitude had completely changed, probably because they sensed that Angie's medical examination went smoothly due to his influence.

Mary spoke to him, "Mr. Nash, you came too."

With him around, Mary finally felt at ease. There was finally a man in the house, so even if they had to go to the hospital at night, there was no need to be afraid.

Judson nodded slightly, "Mary, the driver is downstairs. You and the boys go home so long. After Angie finishes the drip, I'll make sure they get home."

Mary smiled and nodded, "Alright, we'll leave now."

Dewitt and Rodolfo clapped their hands, cheering Eula on, leaving her bewildered.

After Mary left with the boys, the room suddenly became quiet. Angie was sleeping peacefully and without showing much pain.

Eula looked at Judson and said, "Judson, thank you for tonight!"

Judson sat at the bedside and gently touched Angie's face. She was chubby and adorable.

"Does she get sick often?"

Eula nodded slightly, "She was born weaker than her two brothers, and she cried a lot. She's been difficult to raise since she was young and often falls ill. There were a few times when she scared me to death, so I get nervous whenever she gets sick."

Judson understood and gave a faint smile.

"What about the children's father?"

Even if they're not together, he should still provide child support. What kind of man doesn't do that and lets a woman struggle like this?

Eula shook her head, "They don't have a father."

She didn't want to say any more. After all, her pregnancy was just a few dreams. She couldn't even tell if it was real or just a dream. Even though it's confirmed as real now, where is that man? If he was willing to take responsibility, he would have appeared long ago, and there would be no need for him to search. She felt that he must be a scumbag, taking advantage without wanting to bear the consequences.

Moreover, it was the work of Kristina and her mother, would they arrange a good man for her? Absolutely impossible. Judson noticed that she didn't want to mention the father of the child, so he didn't ask.

After a while, the doctor came over and briefed Judson on Angie's condition. It was just a flu, not a serious illness, a few days of intravenous drip would do. After the doctor left, the ward fell into silence once again. Eula realized that it was almost midnight. It would be impolite to let him stay with her all the time for the drips to finish.

"Judson, there are still three bottles of the drip, you can go home so long! You have a lot to do, and I can't afford to compensate you anymore.”

Judson looked at her deeply, her face full of exhaustion. Being a mother was really not easy. "Eula, no matter what happens in the future, you can come to me, I will help you."
