Chapter 255 They're All Here for the Show
Keeping Angie from being too lively would avoid drawing David's attention, so even if he were to lose his temper, it wouldn't be directed at Angie.
Angie nodded. "Eula, don't worry. I'll be very quiet."
Angie still had a small scar on her forehead; the bandage had been replaced with a band-aid that her hair could cover, still making her look like the pretty and adorable little princess she always was.
They were visiting the Lowe family, so she dressed the three children in good-quality clothes. Although they weren't trendy, the three children were so beautiful that they looked good in anything!
Even in old-fashioned children's clothes, they managed to make them look like the latest fashion.
Eula was always confident in this; their outstanding looks must have been inheritedfrom her.
The four of them sat in the Lowe family's car and headed to the Lowe estate. As the car drove through the gates, Eula's heart tightened with nerves.
She hoped David would be in a good mood today and wouldn't get angry on the children upon seeing them.
The car stopped in the parking lot; the servants and Alan helped them open the car doors.
Eula got out, followed by the three children. Angie wore a little bunny coat, with a pink princess dress underneath, white socks, and red little leather shoes, looking every bit the little princess.
Dewitt wore a black little suit, and Rodolfo wore a white one, one appeared cold and the other appeared warm.
The servants working in the yard were all attracted by this family of four, whispering among themselves,"Wow, are those Eula's three children? They're so good-looking!"
"Yeah, just like little child stars on TV."
Eula held Angie's hand, her expression somewhat serious, as she walked step by step towards the main building.
Entering the main hall, she saw many people sitting on the sofas.
She glanced around; the Lowe family was all present. When she saw Geoffrey, her eyes widened in surprise.
She had never mentioned her background to Geoffrey. After leaving the Lowe family, she never brought it up again.
David's eyes swept over the three children as they entered.
Previously, he thought he would never like these three children. After all, they were of unknown origin, fatherless, and had ruined Eula's life. He had a grudge in his heart.
But seeing them now, David was stunned. The firmness in his heart melted away, and a voice echoed within him. 'These are my grandchildren, they truly are.'
Such beautiful children were hard not to like.
Eula's heart was in her throat because David kept looking at the three little ones. She was worried, worried that he wouldn't like them.
Everyone present was there to watch the show, so no one interrupted.
They were all waiting for David to explode!
So at this moment, the Lowe family was extremely quiet. Everyone slowed their breathing, afraid of drawing David's attention and bringing trouble upon themselves.
David suddenly laughed. "Eula, you're here. Come to me, my three little babies."
Angie, Dewitt, and Rodolfo walked over.
The three of them approached him, each taking turns to give him a respectful hug and greeting. "Hello, Grandpa!"
Everyone was stunned by this scene. These three children were just too lovely!
Eula blinked, wondering who had taught them this.
Looking at David again, he was laughing heartily.
Angie ran to David's side. "I'm Angie. This candy is for you."
A pink heart-shaped lollipop was presented to David. He paused for a moment, as if his heart was deeply touched.
David took it, looked at it again and again, then laughed heartily. "Angie, you are so sweet! Thank you. Can you help me eat this candy?"
