Chapter 462 She's Gone Mad

After Shirley hung up, she got up and left the room, heading to the back annex.

The servant saw her and quickly came to greet her. "Mrs. Hopkins, what brings you here?"

The annex was where the servants lived; the owners usually didn't come to this part of the house.

Shirley glanced inside the building. "Is Bradley here? His wife."

The servant, a middle-aged woman who had worked for the Hopkins family for half her life, sighed. "Mrs. Hopkins, Bradley's wife, has gone mad and was sent to a mental hospital. Bradley has been taking care of her there recently."

"What? Gone mad? What happened?"

The servant looked around. "She kept babbling about Bright Peak Villa being haunted, saying there was a little girl always laughing in the house."

Shirley was taken aback by this. "Are you serious?"

The servant quickly replied, "It's just Bradley's wife's crazy talk. Of course, we don't believe it."

But Shirley was worried. Bright Peak Villa was in the suburbs, and the villa was built on a hillside.

People were now saying that the once highly sought-after Bright Peak Villa now looked like a tomb. The more she thought about it, the more uneasy she felt.

Even though Geoffrey was blind, nothing else could happen to him. She needed to persuade him to come back; she couldn't rely on Eula anymore.

So she decided to go to Bright Peak Villa herself.

Back in the main house, she called a few servants. "You all come with me to Bright Peak Villa."

Two male servants and a female servant respectfully replied, "Yes, Mrs. Hopkins."

Eula drove for two hours to get home. When she entered, she saw the three children playing in the living room.

Angie was watching TV, and the two sons were each busy with a computer.

Dewitt said calmly, "Rodolfo, catch him quickly."

"Got it."

Rodolfo replied, and after a minute, both of them laughed.

"We finally caught him."

Angie turned to look at them. "Did you catch the bad guy?"

Rodolfo replied, "Yes, this website was attacked by a hacker, causing them significant losses. They hired Dewitt and me through the hacker network to catch this hacker. Now we've caught him, and Dewitt also set up a very strong firewall for them."

Angie didn't quite understand, but she knew her brothers had made money again.

She sighed, "If they knew you two were just kids, they'd be furious."

Mary saw Eula changing her shoes at the door and came out of the kitchen to approach her. "Eula, how is Geoffrey?"

She had been worried all this time, so she asked as soon as she saw Eula.

Eula thought of Geoffrey and had a headache. She shook her head.

"He's given up on himself, doesn't want to see anyone, and refuses treatment. It's very troublesome."

Mary couldn't help but say, "He must be unable to accept it. It's really pitiful. Can he be cured?"

Eula paused, thinking of the old Geoffrey, handsome, young, and promising.

Now he was so thin, it was heartbreaking.

She hoped he would eat some of the ravioli she brought, as it was his favorite food before.

"He will definitely get better. With modern medicine being so advanced, he will surely recover." Mary comforted.

The three children walked towards her, and Angie ran over quickly. "Mommy! I missed you."

She threw herself into Eula's arms, and Eula gently stroked her little head. "I missed you all, too."

Rodolfo smiled and said, "Congratulations on your award, Mom. We watched the video, and you looked beautiful that day!"

Hearing Rodolfo's words, Eula smiled. "I should thank you all!"

Then she bent down and kissed each of them on the cheek.

Dewitt also had a slight smile on his face. "Mommy, I sent the video to Great-Grandfathe,r too. He was very happy and said he wants to celebrate with you."
