Chapter 388 Something Happened
It wasn't his voice, and Eula felt a bit disappointed.
However, the warmth from last night made her think of him sweetly.
"Where's Mr. Nash? I saw a few missed calls."
It must have been when she was on the phone with Geoffrey earlier. She heard a few rings but didn't react in time.
Geoffrey glanced at the handsome Judson, who was standing in front of the microphone, being interviewed by various media outlets. His expression was indifferent.
He responded to the reporters' questions rightly.
No matter how big the issue, Judson was always the calmest one.
Myles replied, "Ms. Lowe, Mr. Nash is currently being interviewed by the media and is not available to take calls. Is there anything you want me to convey to him? I can tell him for you, or I can have him call you back later."
Eula didn't really have anything urgent. She just wanted to ask if he was okay.
Today's incident was quite serious, and she thought he must be feeling terrible, facing a lot of issues.
"I'm fine, Myles. Is Judson okay?" She finally asked, even though he was so strong that everyone thought he was a superhero, made of steel.
But in Eula's eyes, he was just like any other person. There was nothing special; he was an ordinary human.
Myles knew it wasn't good either, so he replied, "Mr. Nash is very strong; you don't need to worry about him. Ms. Lowe, just spend more time with Mr. Nash when you can."
After hanging up, Eula's heart was still uneasy.
She quickly opened her phone to check the news about the construction site accident in East Side that resulted in three deaths.
The headline was striking. She nervously clicked on it, and the content was all about criticizing the Nash Group for inadequate safety measures. The situation was quite serious.
She didn't dare to look at the comments below, only silently praying in her heart. 'Judson, hang in there. Everyone, please don't blame him; it's not his fault.'
For Eula, she didn't need to be a judge. Who was right or wrong didn't matter to her; she was biased.
She hoped Judson would be okay, hoped he would be safe, and hoped others wouldn't make things difficult for him.
Angie called out to her, "Mommy, let's go inside."
Robert needed to take his medicine, and the sun outside was getting intense. They all moved inside.
Eula responded, "Okay, I'm coming."
Jessica held Angie's hand and went inside with Robert and the others.
Eula walked over, and Kristina was waiting there, then walked alongside her. "Eula, Grandpa has been saying recently that he wants to bring you back and get you and Geoffrey married as soon as possible."
After saying that, she sneered. "I heard Geoffrey had a car accident and went blind. You really are pitiful. The father of your kids is unknown, and the only person who stood up for you is now blind. Should I say you're pitiful, or should I say you bring bad luck to your husband?"
Eula grabbed her hand and pulled her back, causing her to stumble backward. "Kristina, don't be too smug. I'll explain things to Grandpa. But as for Judson, I'm determined to have him. You'll never get him in this lifetime."
At this moment, Eula's goal was clear. She loved Judson and wanted to be with him.
No matter what happened, she would firmly stand by his side and face everything together with him.
Kristina clenched her fists in anger, wanting to retaliate, to hit back.
"Eula, you might not know this, but Mr. Robert Nash likes me. The granddaughter-in-law he has chosen is me." After saying that, she walked forward triumphantly. "You should deal with Grandpa first before talking to me about this! If you want to anger Grandpa again and make him think you're a shameless person, go ahead and tell him about you and Judson."
Eula took a deep breath. 'Kristina is really hateful.'
She stepped into the house and saw Angie watching TV, holding the remote and changing channels.
She switched to the news channel, which was currently reporting on the incident in in East Side.
