Chapter 290 She Would Never Give Up
Eula remembered eating with Judson, not caring about her image and sometimes making a mess just to bug him.
She never thought she'd end up as Judson's girlfriend.
She felt embarrassed.
Judson cut another piece of steak and put it on her plate.
"Eat up before it gets cold," he said.
Then, he cut his own steak with a knife and fork, eating gracefully.
Eula wondered, 'How does he eat so elegantly?'
She pouted. Her image was already gone, so she didn't care. Plus, this was Wagyu beef, way better than what she usually had.
Eula picked up her knife and fork and started eating.
After one bite, she exclaimed, "This is so good! The flavor is amazing! The meat is so tender."
It was way better than the beef she usually ate, so she ate happily.
Judson watched her joyfully eat and smiled. He loved seeing her enjoy her food. It made him feel more appetized.
Karen, sitting at a nearby table, glanced at Eula. She thought Eula looked pretty but had poor table manners.
She thought Eula couldn't compare to Sandra.
Karen added food to Sandra's plate, saying, "Sandra, don't be sad. Judson's current girlfriend probably won't get into the Nash family."
The Nash family was the top family in City A, even above the Pitts family.
So, the Nashes had high standards for a daughter-in-law. Not just anyone could marry in.
Sandra sighed, "Mom, you don't know. At the last tea party, Mrs. Nash brought Eula along. The Nashes has already accepted her."
Karen's eyes widened. As a second wife, she didn't even qualify to attend such socialite events.
Karen looked at Eula again, surprised at how skillful she was.
As Karen thought about how she had never attended such events herself, her resentment grew, and she disliked Eula even more.
Karen said, "Sandra, you should talk to your grandmother about marrying Judson. You're the only girl in the family, and she loves you. If you say something, she'll help you."
This was the only solution Karen could think of. She had no say in the matter and couldn't help Sandra herself.
Sandra pouted and took a sip of red wine. "Mom, you know how Grandma is. She says she won't get involved in the younger generation's affairs. Plus, she doesn't want me to marry into the Nash family, fearing it might affect the elders' relationship if things go south."
If Sandra had Donna's support, she would have been with Judson long ago, and Eula wouldn't even be in the picture.
Having secretly liked Judson for so many years, she would never give up.
Eula finished eating and picked up a wet wipe to clean her hands.
"All done."
Judson served her a bowl of soup. "Have some soup."
He had specially ordered it for her; it was very nutritious and had medicinal ingredients.
Eula didn't refuse. She picked up a small spoon and sipped it slowly, but eventually, she couldn't hold back.
"Judson, will you and Sandra get married in the future?" she asked.
The relationship between the Pitts family and the Nash family was well-known, and they were well-matched in social status. Plus, Judson and Hugo were so close, giving her a certain feeling.
Judson and Sandra seemed like a perfect match.
