Chapter 471 Everyone Is Pressuring Him

David thought for a moment, "Hmm, I'll take care of this matter. Those things you just said, don't say them again. From now on, Eula is the heiress of the Lowe family. Anyone who dares to slander her will have to deal with me."

David stood up and stormed back to his study.

Kristina patted her chest and exhaled a sigh of relief towards Melissa. "That really scared me just now."

Melissa glanced around to make sure David was gone before she spoke. "Kristina, although Eula got lucky marrying into the Hopkins family, the Nash family is still better off compared to the Hopkins family. We're not losing out."

Kristina agreed. However, she leaned in and whispered in her ear. "Mom, do you think Eula will find out about what we did to her back then? What if she finds out? What will we do?"

Melissa sneered, "She won't find out. That old man has disappeared, and it's been so many years; he's probably dead. Even if she investigates, she won't find any direct evidence."

Kristina nodded, "That's good."

The darkness in Kristina's eyes deepened as she coldly looked into the distance, recalling Judson's indifference towards her.

She wanted Eula to feel what it was like when Judson discovered he had been deceived by her.

Thinking of this, her mood instantly improved.

David went into the study and dialed Eula's number.

She quickly answered, "Grandpa."

"Eula, where are you now?"

"I'm at Geoffrey's place; he just got discharged from the hospital."

Eula was standing in the Bright Peak Villa area, ringing the doorbell, waiting for someone to open the door.

Hearing this, David's lips curled into a slight smile, knowing that Kristina had been spreading rumors. "Alright, take good care of him. We're holding a family banquet on Saturday. Bring him and the three kids back with you."

Hearing David's words, Eula felt a bit worried.

She needed to find a time to meet David and explain everything in person. "Okay, Grandpa."

After hanging up, Eula rang the doorbell a few more times, but no one answered.

Shirley got out of the car. "No one's answering?"

She thought that as long as Eula came, she would be able to see Geoffrey. Her face looked a bit disappointed.

"Seems like no one's home," Eula said, looking inside.

Last night, someone at least answered the video intercom. Today, there was no response at all, so they must not be home.

Shirley didn't believe it. "I'll make a call."

She dialed Geoffrey's number, but no one answered until the third try, when he finally picked up. "Hello?"

He already knew it was his mom, but he had to keep up the act.

"Geoffrey, Eula and I are at the door. Can you open it?"

Geoffrey was standing by the second-floor window, the sheer curtain blocking their view, but he could see them clearly.

"Mom, I just happened to go to the hospital for a follow-up today. You should go back!"

Hearing this, Shirley was taken aback. He went to the hospital?

They had even brought a doctor with them, but they were too late.

"Geoffrey, when will you be back? Eula and I came all this way. Why don't you tell me the door code so we can wait inside? I miss you and wants to see you before leaving." She wanted to check on Geoffrey's condition, see if he was in good spirits.

She didn't know if the house was clean. Bradley's wife had gone mad; Geoffrey mustn't have any issues.

He was her only son; nothing could happen to him.

Geoffrey said coldly, "Mom, I don't want to see anyone. You should go back! And don't come again."

Hearing that he was about to hang up, Shirley started crying. "Geoffrey, I've decided to agree to your marriage with Eula. I'll genuinely treat her well. Can you see me now?"

Shirley knew Geoffrey well enough to understand why he was angry.

Geoffrey, standing by the window upstairs, slightly curled his lips. "Mom, it's good that you agreed."
