Chapter 325 Both of Them are His Daughters
The Lowe family was buzzing with action; Jared and Neil's clans had rolled in, making it a big ol' shindig with over a dozen folks.
So, Eula didn't have a second to check her phone. With Geoffrey around, no one dared to give her any grief anymore.
I mean, the Hopkins family was a big deal in City A, like the second most powerful family around.
And Geoffrey? He was the top dog of the Hopkins family. The Lowes had business ties with them, so no one wanted to tick him off.
Now that Eula was with him, her status shot up too.
Eula and Geoffrey were sitting with David at the main table, along with Eula's dad and her uncles.
Eula's three kids were there too, right next to David.
David was in a great mood, even had a glass of wine.
After dinner, the Lowes were getting ready to head out.
As they all stepped out of the main building, Dewitt and Rodolfo took Angie and hopped into the car first.
Fernando came out to see them off, and Melissa nudged him. "Go tell Eula to stop stealing Kristina's boyfriend. You're her dad; she'll listen to you."
During dinner, Melissa didn't even get to sit at the main table, but Eula and her three kids did.
Melissa knew the backstory of those three kids, but David bought into Geoffrey's story.
She had to come up with a plan, maybe find some old guy to pretend to be the dad of those kids from back then.
She couldn't let Eula keep being so smug. Seeing how David doted on her two sons made her roast. Those kids were good at talking sweet, making David super happy.
If this kept up, the Lowe Group might end up in Eula's kids' hands.
Fernando, looking all serious, walked over to Eula. "Eula, hang on, I need to talk to you."
Eula was about to get in the car when she heard him and turned around.
The middle-aged guy in front of her was her dad, but she never got any love from him growing up.
Fernando pointed to the side. "Too many people here, let's talk over there."
He then walked towards the nearby gazebo, and Eula followed. Once inside, she plopped down on a chair.
She looked up at the sky and saw a few scattered stars.
She remembered as a kid, she loved stargazing, so her grandpa would take her to the mountain villa for a few nights every holiday.
Fernando didn't sit but stood there.
He looked down at Eula in the dim light, and the more he looked, the more she looked like Belle.
Belle, the woman he once loved deeply, was now a ghost in his memory, a painful reminder of a betrayal he couldn't forget.
The thought of her only brought a cold, bitter hatred.
"Eula, Kristina's gone to the Nash family, you know that. She went there for Christmas, you should know what that means. Stop messing around with Judson. Do you even know your own place? The Nash family doesn't like you at all." Hearing this, Eula's heart ached.
They were both his daughters, but in his eyes, Melissa's daughter was more favored by the Nash family, while she was not worthy.
Eula thought, 'Is this really my dad? He seems scarier than a stranger.'
She looked up coldly and stared at him, her eyes glistening in the dim light. "Mr. Lowe, we're both your daughters. How can you say things like that to me? No surprise, considering how you and Melissa forced my mom away back then, it shows how heartless you are."
She stood up and gave a cold smile. "Fernando, you can tell Melissa and Kristina that I won't let go. Judson will be mine."
As soon as she finished speaking, a sharp slap echoed.
Eula's face was slapped to the side, and the pain made her frown.
"Eula, can you stop being so disgraceful? You're embarrassing our family."
