Chapter 421 Disturbed
"No need to see me off, just remember to change your underwear." After saying that, he slightly curled his lips and walked briskly towards the elevator.
Darcy stood there, her face growing redder. Elbert could be really shameless when he wanted to be.
Every time, he managed to surprise her. Didn't he say he never had a girlfriend before? But he seemed to know so much!
Darcy unconsciously squeezed her legs together, then turned and went back to the ward.
Seeing that Estelle was asleep and Eula was also asleep, she relaxed.
Two maids were standing by the bed, not daring to leave.
Darcy looked at them, "You two go rest in the next room. I'll call you if I need anything."
The maids responded, "Yes, Ms. Osborne."
The two obediently left the ward. Darcy glanced at the wardrobe, quickly walked over, grabbed some pajamas and underwear, and went into the bathroom to take a shower.
Elbert got into the car, lit a cigarette, and took a puff.
Leaning back in the seat, he looked at the sky outside.
He couldn't see stars in the city, unlike at the base, where the night sky was beautiful.
As he exhaled the smoke, he felt a bit irritated.
Thinking that he might never go back, he felt a bit nostalgic.
His fingers lightly tapped on the car, and suddenly his eyes lit up. He started the car and drove away from the hospital, heading to Starry Villa.
The car stopped in front of Judson's house. He rang the doorbell, and a stranger opened the door. "Who are you?"
Elbert squinted slightly. Judson usually didn't like having people at his house, so the maids only came during the day to clean and cook for him. He was alone at night.
"I'm Elbert, here to see Judson."
The family doctor was taken aback, "Oh, are you a friend of Mr. Nash?"
"Yes, stop talking and let me in."
The door opened, and Elbert entered the house. The doctor stood by the door.
"Mr. Hicks, it's good you're here. Mr. Nash is in his room and won't let us in. We don't know how he's doing."
Elbert glanced upstairs. "Are you the family doctor?"
He hadn't seen him before, so he must be from the Nash Mansion.
The doctor nodded, "Yes, I'm from the Nash family Mansion. The maids called, saying Mr. Judson Nash wasn't feeling well, so Mr. Robert Nash sent me over."
Elbert understood and walked upstairs, pushing open Judson's bedroom door.
A pillow flew at him, "Get out and leave me alone."
His head hurt badly, and he didn't want to be disturbed.
Elbert, with his quick reflexes, caught the pillow and laughed. "Judson, it's me. What's wrong?"
He moved the pillow away from his face and looked at Judson on the bed.
Judson's face was pale, his brows furrowed, and sweat covered his head and face. One hand was pressing on his head.
Elbert quickly walked over. "Judson, what's going on?"
He quickly thought of the bullet in Judson's head and cursed. "Damn it."
He had originally come to have a drink with him and to remind him that Eula was injured and in the hospital.
Seeing him like this, he decided not to say anything, as it would only make him more worried and wouldn't help his headache.
So he took out his phone and called Hugo, but there was no answer. He kept calling while wiping Judson's sweat with a towel.
Hugo finally answered, sounding annoyed, "What do you want?"
Elbert could tell he was frustrated, but didn't care.
"Hugo, no matter what you're doing, get over to Judson's place now. His head hurts badly. Could the bullet have shifted?"
Hugo sat up straight upon hearing this.
He had been working overtime at the hospital recently and had finally gotten a chance to sleep early, only to be disturbed.
