Chapter 427 Going to Receive the Award

Judson actually fell asleep. It seemed that smelling her scent made him feel particularly at ease.

His head didn't hurt as much, and he started to feel drowsy.

When Eula turned to look at him again, she found his eyes closed and his breathing even.

She let out a breath. Judson actually fell asleep. He must be really tired.

Thinking about how busy he usually is at work, she didn't want to wake him up, no matter how angry she was.

She could only let him hold her until the car stopped in front of Judson's house.

The driver turned his head and asked, "Ms. Lowe, do you need me to help Mr. Nash inside?"

Waking up Judson was something he didn't dare to do. He wondered if Euladared to?

Eula snapped back to reality, feeling unhappy. She pried his hand off her waist, opened the door, and got out of the car. "You help him up. I'm going home."

With that, she left without looking back. The driver looked at the deeply sleeping Judson in the back seat, completely at a loss.

Actually, the painkillers Judson took had a sedative component, which was why he was sleeping so soundly.

When Eula got home, Mary was up getting a drink of water. Seeing Eula come in with her head wrapped in bandages, she hurried over in a panic. "Eula, did you get into a fight?"

Her head was injured. Did Eula get into a fight again?

Thinking about how she had to pay a lot of money after injuring someone in a fight before, she hadn't fought in a year or two. Why was she fighting again?

Eula raised her hand to touch her head. "No fight, just a fall. It's a small issue. Mary, you should get some rest. I'm going upstairs."

Mary was still worried. "Don't get it wet! Be careful when you sleep. Wear a hat when you go out; if the wound gets cold, you'll have frequent headaches."

Eula had no mother growing up, and she felt a mother's nagging from Mary, which brought a slight smile to her face.

"Got it."

The next day, Eula was woken up by pain. Angie had heard that her mommy was injured, so she ran to the bedroom to see her and poked her head with her finger.

She poked right on the wound, waking Eula up from the pain.

Dewitt and Rodolfo, standing by, wanted to stop her, but were too late. Both frowned, feeling sorry for Eula.

Eula's face scrunched up in pain. "Angie, you hurt me."

Angie then withdrew her finger and gave her a sweet smile. "Mommy, it's not fake. There's really a hole in your head?"

Eula closed her eyes briefly. Angie still didn't believe she was really hurt.

Dewitt waved his phone at her. "Mommy, a lady said you have a flight at eleven today. She wants you to get to the airport early."

Hearing this, Eula suddenly sat up. She remembered she had to go receive an award tomorrow!

But in her current state, she looked a bit ugly!

Rodolfo seemed to read her mind and smiled slightly. "Mommy, you can wear a hat when you receive the award. You'll still look beautiful!"

Angie also said seriously, "Yes, wear a pretty hat, and you won't see the ugly bandage."

Eula shrugged. "Okay, thanks for the advice, babies. I will take it."

She patted their little faces. "Go have breakfast and then go to school."

Now that they lived closer to school, the three kids took the school bus, which conveniently passed by.

Dewitt checked the time. "Rodolfo, Angie, we need to hurry, or we'll miss the bus."

Angie reached out to touch Eula's face. "Mommy, remember to bring us gifts when you come back!"

Eula smiled. "Okay!"

At that moment, Tiffany's call came in. She quickly picked up the phone. "Hello."

"Eula, when we get to Country F today, I want to take you to meet someone. Are you on your way out yet?"
