Chapter 279 Birthday Party (3)

Eula couldn't help but laugh and glanced at him. "Mr. Nash, you're too domineering."

Judson leaned in and whispered, "That's because you're so beautiful!"

Eula went quiet, giving a faint smile. 'That sound a little too exaggerated! It can't be, can it? It's even making Judson nervous.'

She realized love was blind. She always thought she was just average.

But it felt great to be cared for by him!

After some time, the car stopped at the entrance of the Pitts family's ultra-luxury hotel.

Hugo's birthday party was in the largest hall there.

Media folks were waiting outside. Everyone wore masks, so the media couldn't identify the guests.

Hugo wanted everyone to have fun without worrying about exposure.

Before getting out, Judson put on a silver mask. His narrow eyes looked even more enchanting.

He slightly pursed his red lips and looked at Eula. She also put on her silver diamond mask; they matched.

Judson got out, and Eula followed, taking his arm as they walked toward the hotel.

Flashes went off, but no one could tell who they were.

Eula smiled, feeling secure and confident with Judson by her side.

She glanced at Judson, who looked like a king.

When they got inside, a waiter led them to the banquet hall.

Eula was surprised by the Halloween-themed decorations—skeletons, servers dressed as ghosts, zombies, and vampires.

She couldn't help thinking that the kids would love it.

Judson gently stroked her hand. "Scared?"

Hugo's parties had a different theme every year. Last year was a pajama party.

This year's theme fit Hugo's identity as a doctor.

Eula chuckled. "Not scared, just never thought a birthday party could be like this."

Judson led her to a lounge area. Their presence drew everyone's attention.

People whispered.

"Who are they? What a feast for the eyes!"

"I want to see them without masks. They must be a perfect match."

"I honestly can't tell who they are!"

Eula heard the comments. She knew she had to be strong to be with Judson, strong enough that no words could hurt her.

Judson opened the lounge door, and they walked in.

Hugo was on the sofa, hugging a young girl with a high ponytail and a baseball jacket, looking like a high schooler.

She said, "Hugo, you said you'd spend your birthday with just me."

Hugo coaxed, "Tomorrow I'll spend it alone with you, okay?"

The girl pouted. "I dressed up like this today, I don't care."

"Baby, you look beautiful in this!" Hugo kissed her cheek, and she barely smiled.
