Chapter 263 Became Neighbors
They first entered Building 7. This villa couldn't compare to Judson's, but it was still quite large—a three-story house with front and back yards.
For Eula's family of four, even with Mary, it was more than enough space.
Mary looked at the house and exclaimed, "This place is huge! We could even grow vegetables in the yard."
Eula thought it was a good idea; homegrown vegetables were healthier.
The layout and size of the three houses were identical. David was very fair.
Judson looked at the house, originally thinking they would need renovations and furniture before moving in. To his surprise, everything was already furnished, and he could tell the furniture had been recently installed.
Eula's grandfather was really good to them, thinking of everything.
Angie sat down at the piano and started playing a tune. She had been learning for over a year and could only play simple pieces.
But Angie finally had her piano, and it was her favorite white one. Angie was very happy.
Eula was also a bit surprised. She had thought they would need to spend money on renovations and furniture.
Mary excitedly said, "Eula, we could actually move in tonight. It's fully furnished."
Angie turned her head and said, "Eula, I want to stay here tonight. I really like it."
Eula smiled. "Alright! We'll stay here tonight."
Judson specifically checked the electricity, gas, water, and heating; everything was already set up.
They could indeed stay here tonight.
Judson stood not far away, raised his hand, and coughed lightly. "Eula, I'm hungry."
Upon hearing this, Eula's eyes showed a hint of caution, fearing Judson would bring up the money she owed him.
Although she had some savings now, she was still reluctant to use them to repay the debt. The original IOU was unfair. So, Eula preferred to repay it with her labor.
Eula stood up. "Mr. Nash, you sit and rest for a while. Mary and I will go cook."
Mary also stood up. With such a big kitchen, she was sure she could make a table full of delicious food.
She asked, "Where's the nearest grocery store? I'll go buy some ingredients."
Eula frowned slightly. There were no grocery stores nearby, and the people living here had servants to prepare food, unlike typical residential areas.
She opened her phone, ready to order some groceries online.
Judson extended a finger and beckoned Eula over.
"I have food at my place. Come with me to get it."
Mary smiled slightly. She found Judson more and more agreeable.
Now they were going to be neighbors, and since Eula's household didn't have a man present, it was a good idea to maintain a good relationship with Judson. Even if he and Eula weren't a couple, she could help out with things.
Eula felt a slight sweetness in her heart at his gesture.
She actually felt a bit of the sweetness between couples. Although they hadn't established a relationship, they had kissed several times, and their relationship had subtly changed.
Leaving Building 7, Judson pulled her into his arms and looked down at her.
He said, "You just stay in Building 7. It's close to me."
If he missed Eula at night, he could easily visit.
That's what Judson was thinking, and Eula nodded at him.
She said, "I think so. Building 7 is closer to you, and it gets plenty of sunlight."
Judson reached out and ruffled her hair, his eyes full of affection.
When they got to Judson's house, she went to the kitchen and opened the fridge to choose some ingredients.
Judson took a bottle of water, opened it, and handed it to her. Eula took it and drank a sip. Then Judson took it back and drank from the same bottle.
Eula's eyes widened slightly. "Judson, I drank from that."
