Chapter 419 Keep Me Company

Francis gave a faint smile, "No need to be so polite. She needs to rest for a while. It's better if she leaves the hospital in two hours. Should I arrange a ward for her, or should she go to Estelle's ward?"

He was very considerate, and Darcy smiled back at him. "She'll stay in Estelle's ward. Come back in two hours to check on her."

The main reason was that she had been given anesthesia, and they were worried her body might have some reactions, so they needed to observe her for a while.

Darcy helped Eula out of Francis's office, with Elbert walking straight and tall beside them. Today, he was wearing a gray T-shirt and casual pants.

Although his outfit was simple, he exuded a strong, steely aura.

Eula couldn't help but ask softly, "Does he usually train?"

Even through his clothes, you could faintly see his chest muscles. It felt like Elbert was made of stone.

Darcy nodded, "Yes, he trains every day. Probably got used to it in the military."

In the elevator, the two women stood in front while Elbert stood behind, his gaze occasionally drifting towards Darcy. After all, he had seen Darcy's figure up close.

She looked fantastic. Today, she was wearing black skinny pants and a tight-fitting pink T-shirt, which accentuated her figure even more.

Especially her perky butt, which was his weakness. He liked it a lot.

Darcy seemed to sense his gaze and shifted her body slightly.

Elbert chuckled softly. Indeed, Darcy understood him the best. It was very interesting.

Eula had a sweet, warm, and sugary demeanor, like cotton candy.

She and Darcy had different styles.

The anesthesia hadn't worn off for Eula yet, so she didn't have much strength. Leaning against Darcy, she wasn't in a good mood, constantly thinking about that guy, Judson.

She really hated herself. Even in this state, she was still thinking about him. It was pathetic.

When they entered the ward, Estelle saw Eula and happily called out to her. "Godmother, you're here."

Eula saw Estelle holding a Barbie doll and responded. "Estelle, is this Barbie doll new?"

Eula was quite familiar with these things, as there was an Angie at home who loved buying Barbie dolls.

Estelle looked at Elbert, not far away, and pointed at him. "Uncle Elbert gave it to me. He gave me a lot! Those over there, too."

It was clear that Estelle liked him a lot. And Elbert was quite generous, spending lavishly on Estelle.

Darcy helped Eula to the sofa. "Do you want me to set up a small bed for you to sleep for a while?"

Eula waved her hand, "No need, I'll just rest here."

After saying that, she closed her eyes. Darcy knew she was in a bad mood and thought that Elbert being here would only make her more upset, given that Elbert and Judson were good friends.

Seeing him would inevitably remind her of Judson.

Darcy patted Estelle's head, "You should rest too. Let the maids wipe your face."

Estelle looked at her mommy. Ever since Elbert came into their lives, her mommy had been much more relaxed. Estelle understood this and hoped her mommy would be even better. "Okay!"

She obediently lay down on the bed, and Darcy spoke to the two maids nearby, instructing them to wipe Estelle's body.

After giving instructions, she walked over to Elbert, who was reading one of Estelle's picture books.

"Elbert, I'll see you out," Darcy said.

Elbert looked up. Was she kicking him out?

He remained seated, so Darcy took the book from his hand and put it back on the table, then grabbed his hand and pulled him. "Let's talk outside."

Elbert stood up and let her lead him to the lounge outside.

Then Darcy found herself pinned between the wall and his chest, his sharp eyes staring at her. "Stay with me tonight."

His voice was low and cold, with an undeniable tone.
