Chapter 245 Another Love Rival
Eula remembered that Judson's birthday seemed to be in February, and she was rushing to finish before his birthday.
Judson fell silent. "I don't celebrate birthdays."
Eula was stunned. ‘He doesn’t celebrate birthdays? Shouldn't someone like Judson have a grand celebration for his birthday?’
However, when it came to birthdays, Judson seemed unhappy; his voice even lowered.
"Before Christmas, I knitted for you." That was her promise, and Judson responded lightly.
Seeing Darcy already dressed and out, Eula hurriedly said, "I'll hang up first; remember to eat when you get home."
After hanging up, Eula walked towards Darcy. "If you're not feeling well, I'll take you to the hospital to see a doctor."
In the past two years, Eula had also gone to the hospital frequently, so she was familiar with the doctors there.
Darcy's complexion was very poor; her lips were pale. "It's okay, I want to stay with Estelle."
Worried about Darcy, Eula took her to the hospital, where two more people were taking care of Estelle, saying they were hired by Elbert to look after her.
After hearing this, Darcy didn't say anything.
Since Elbert had hired people, it was a form of compensation, which would also make it easier for Darcy.
One of the maids was feeding Estelle, and when Estelle saw Eula, she smiled. "Eula, didn't Angie and the others come? I miss them."
Eula sat by the bed, took the bowl from the maid's hand, and personally fed Estelle. "I've been busy lately, so I didn't bring them over. I'll bring them over in a while."
This week, Angie and the others were all on vacation; today was their last day at school. But Eula didn't mention school matters in front of Estelle.
Estelle hadn't been to school in two years and must have been eager to go to school like a normal child.
Eula was afraid that mentioning Angie and the others going to school would make Estelle sad.
Estelle was very weak, looking even thinner, which was distressing to see.
"My mom said I'm going to have surgery next week, and after that, I'll be like a normal kid, and then I can go to school and come home with Angie and the others," said Estelle.
As Estelle spoke these words, her eyes sparkled with joy.
Tears welled up in Eula's eyes. If only Elbert could see this scene, maybe he wouldn't run away.
Three days later, Eula accompanied Judson on his inspection rounds.
As soon as they entered the office, they saw Sandra sitting on the sofa area, waving at them. "Eula, I'm here to have lunch with you."
Eula glanced at Judson beside her and managed a smile. "Got it!"
Judson took off his coat, and Eula took it and hung it on the rack.
Sandra had already sat opposite Judson, watching him busy with his work. "Judson, I made plans to have lunch with Eula today. Could you join us?"
Sandra's purpose in coming was to see Judson. It seemed like they hadn't met in half a year, and Judson had become even more handsome.
Judson, feeling Sandra's gaze on him, looked up coldly. "Have you graduated?"
Sandra nodded. "Yes, I finished my studies early, but now I'm bored at home. Do you need a secretary here? I can work for you."
If Sandra could see Judson every day, she would gladly work there.
When Sandra had just entered, she saw Eula's desk and became jealous.
Eula sat at her desk, watching Sandra gaze at Judson so infatuatedly, which made her feel a bit uncomfortable. So she suddenly stood up and walked over. "Sandra, why don't you wait for me in the restaurant? I'll come over after work."
There was still over an hour until quitting time.
Sandra's gaze remained fixed on Judson's handsome face, a smile playing on her lips. "It's okay. I'll wait here for you."
