Chapter 282 I Can Even Give You My Life

High society was all about shallow feelings.

Lori's perspective of Kristina changed. She looked at Kristina in shock, like she was watching a drama unfold.

Kristina had some friends who’d been close to her lately. If Lori spilled the beans, it would be a show.

People wanted to get close to Judson for business, so they accepted Kristina, who promised to help them.

If they found out Kristina was nothing but old news, there would definitely be a scene.

Lori stood up and said, "Hugo, we're heading out; catch you later!"

She walked over to Kristina. "Kristina, we're leaving. Let's not bother the couples here."

Kristina stood up and told Judson, "Judson, we're going out."

Then she turned to Hugo. "Hugo, happy birthday!"

Hugo, being chill, nodded. "Have fun!"

Once they left, Hugo spoke up. "Judson, isn't that a bit harsh?"

He raised an eyebrow at Judson.

Judson rolled his eyes, signaling Hugo to drop it.

Hugo got the hint and raised his hand, like, "Fine."

Pamela leaned against Hugo, her eyes blinking, looking very alluring.

Hugo leaned in. "Want me to kiss you in front of everyone too?"

Pamela quickly dodged. "Stop it."

Eula grabbed Judson's hand and pinched it hard, whispering, "Is it hard seeing your ex mad? Want to comfort her?"

Judson winced but endured it.

He let Eula pinch until she felt sorry. Seeing the red mark, she blew on it. "You're silly! You won't even cry out in pain."

Judson smirked, knowing she'd feel bad. Eula had a soft heart and could only be tough to a point.

Judson said softly, "As long as you're happy, anything goes. Even if you want my life, I'll give it to you."

He meant it. If Eula wanted his life, he'd give it without a second thought.

Eula gave off a pleasant laugh. Sweet talk from a guy was really captivating.

But Eula didn't take it seriously.

Just then, the Pitts family butler came in. "Mr. Pitts, most guests are here. They're waiting for you upstairs to blow out the candles!"

Hugo raised an eyebrow. "Oh, no; I have to go upstairs and hang with the old folks."

Blowing out candles seemed old-fashioned to Hugo.

But since Donna liked celebrating her grandson's birthday this way, he had to go up and socialize.

Hugo kissed Pamela on the cheek. "Baby, I have to go upstairs. Want to come?"

Pamela shook her head. "I don't dare meet your family. I'll go out and have some fun too."

Pamela put on a mask and got up to follow Hugo out.

Hugo said to Judson, "Judson, it's pretty interesting outside. Take Eula out for some fun."

Then he stepped out, closing the door behind him.

Judson lowered his head and kissed Eula. She was surprised but felt it was sweet of him and didn't resist.

After a long kiss, Judson let her go. By then, Eula's eyes were teary.

She looked very delicate and touching.

Judson's eyes deepened. The more he looked at Eula, the more beautiful and attractive she seemed.
