Chapter 210 Want to Drive Him Crazy?
Eula's fork fell to the ground. "What? How could this happen?"
She got up quickly, her steps swift, as she said, "Aunt Mary, call the police quickly."
"Eula, did you borrow money from John's company? They said if you call the police, Angie won't come back."
Upon hearing this, Eula remembered.
It was the fifty thousand, just three days ago, but Darcy hadn't sold the house yet.
What should she do? What should she do?
"Where are Dewitt and Rodolfo? Aren't they here?" Eula asked.
If those two were here, they wouldn't have taken Angie away. They are both black belts in taekwondo, and she only achieved her black belt under their guidance.
"Eula, they went out, that's why Angie was taken away," Aunt Mary said, tears streaming down her face. She had never seen such a scene in her life, it was truly terrifying, and their belongings were smashed by those people.
Seeing those fierce-looking people and Angie crying like that was truly heart-wrenching.
Eula pursed her lips. "Aunt Mary, I'll be back soon."
As she hung up the phone, tears streamed down her face uncontrollably, and she wiped them away.
Reaching for the door to the lounge, her hand was grabbed by a large hand.
"What's wrong?" Judson looked at her deeply, his heart clenching at the sight of her tears.
Eula glanced back at the people in the lounge and shook her head.
"Mr. Nash, I've tasted all the dishes, everything's fine. My work is done, I'll leave first," Eula said as she retracted her hand and quickly opened the door to leave.
Judson furrowed his brow, sensing something was off about her.
He took out his phone and made a call.
"Follow Eula, see where she's going. Report back to me promptly."
After hanging up the phone, he clenched his phone tightly. What trouble had that girl gotten into now? To see her cry again was unexpected.
But she didn't want to tell him, and that irritated him a bit.
Kristina approached him. "Judson, it's about time, let's go downstairs."
Judson snapped out of his thoughts and nodded slightly, leading the group downstairs.
The emcee was already on stage giving the opening remarks, and members of the Nash family and the Lowe family were ready.
Robert was also pushed onto the scene, dressed in a traditional tunic suit, looking spirited.
Jessica wore a dark red suit, exuding elegance and exceptional grace. She stood beside Robert, bending down to look at him.
"Robert, are you happy now?" Jessica asked.
Seeing him in good spirits today, it seemed that as he wished, he was getting better.
Jessica hoped he would recover soon, and not leaving her alone.
Robert's gaze was fixed on two little boys not far away, dressed in matching small black suits, hair styled with wax, looking handsome.
The more Robert looked at them, the more he thought they resembled Judson. Six years ago, he had orchestrated it all, ensuring Judson and Eula had children first before getting married.
At that time, he was afraid Judson would object, so he did it this way.
Who could have predicted all that would happen in between, now his great-grandchildren were right in front of him, but he couldn't say it!
So he looked up at the stage, where Judson and Kristina's wedding photos were being displayed.
These photos were all digitally composed; Judson didn't have the mood to take these photos. Kristina, on the other hand, wanted to take them, to spend more time with Judson, to get closer. But Judson didn't give her that chance, so the wedding company had to digitally compose a few photos for today's theme.
Robert slapped his leg, unable to understand why Judson didn't marry Eula. Why did Judson have to marry Kristina? Was Judson trying to drive him crazy?
The more anxious he felt, the more helpless he became. In the end, he could only helplessly tap his leg.
