Chapter 60 Sleeping Together

She swallowed some saliva to feel better, and then their lips were about to touch, but she was scared and pushed him away.

"Judson, go wash up. I'll go to the bathroom outside."

In this old-fashioned house, there was a bathroom outside where she could freshen up.

Judson lightly licked his thin lips, not getting a kiss, feeling a bit disappointed.

But when she saw her blushing, he was satisfied and didn't make things difficult for her. He went into the bathroom.

After Eula finished washing up and returned to the bedroom, he was already lying down and fast asleep. This man was truly exhausted at this hour.

The next day, they both woke up late, after nine o'clock.

When Eula saw the time, she screamed in shock.

"Ah..."

Then she turned her head and glanced at the bedside table.

"What time is it?"

He had actually slept so soundly. He usually woke up at six o'clock, but today it seemed like he could sleep well.

"It's nine o'clock, Judson. What should we do about being late for work?"

Judson sat up slowly. "It's okay, I won't dock your pay."

Angie turned over and sat up, rubbing her big watery eyes, and then smiled at Judson.

"Uncle Hunk, we slept together!"

She looked extremely happy, with a big grin on her face and two cute dimples showing at the corners of her mouth.

Judson laughed and said, "Good morning, Darling!"

That magnetic voice sounded pleasant on such a morning.

Angie pouted, "Uncle Hunk, your voice is so nice to listen to. I had a dream last night, my dad..."

At this point, she quickly covered her mouth and sneakily glanced at Eula.

Things about her dad couldn't be mentioned in front of Eula. Her two brothers had told her that.

She almost blurted it out, hopefully, Eula didn't hear.

Eula had actually heard it and knew that the three children were avoiding mentioning it to spare her feelings.

She gracefully got out of bed and went into the bedroom.

Judson also realized that she intentionally walked away.

"Dreamed about your dad?"

Angie nodded, "Yeah, he looks exactly like you, and he even hugged me, and carried me with one hand, he's so strong!"

Such treatment was something the little girl had never experienced before, just talking about it made her feel so happy!

Judson reached out with his slender hand and patted her head, "Such a good girl!"

Angie lay on the small bed, watching the two adults going in and out of the bathroom. Then Eula changed her clothes and Uncle Hunk put on his coat.

They were going to work again, leaving only her and Mary at home.

When Eula was tying a scarf around her neck, she told Angie.

"Angie, I'll come back during lunchtime to pick you up and go to the hospital for a shot."

Angie whined, "I don't want to get a shot, it hurts!"

Eula didn't want to argue with her. They had to go, there was no option.

The two walked out of the bedroom together and went downstairs. The staircase was narrow, so they went one after another.

Mary said, "Mr. Nash, Eula, have breakfast first before you leave."

Eula hoped that he would have breakfast before leaving. After all, it was all because of her that he stayed up late into the night and woke up late.

Judson lifted his left hand and glanced at the expensive watch on his wrist.

"No, thank you. I won't eat now, I have a meeting at ten-thirty."

It was already a quarter past nine now, there might be traffic on the road, but he would still make it to the company in time for the meeting.

As they stepped outside, Judson's car wasn't there, but he took out a key from his bag and they travelled to work in the car that he didn't want. He sat in the passenger seat while she drove.

Judson glanced at his phone and saw multiple missed calls, so he dialed Myles' number.

"Judson, you finally responded. Something happened. Have you seen today's news?" Myles asked.
